| The thing I do like about this rumour is that if it's true, Agar has chosen him after working with him, or at least spending time with him.
A lot of over seas signings are based on a view on tv then a few phone calls. You don't really know what you are going to get.
If he's worked with him and then still chosen him he must think he can do a job for us and fit in as well.

| He has quality and would be better than what I was expecting, however is he more of a 6 than 7, or doesn't it really matter anymore?

| What matters is whether he was just veg shopping or discussing the merits of rugby in wakefield. Either that or maybe he has a contract for checkout work.

| I was a parsnip at TW today and did not see any Frenchmen, so have my doubts as to the veracity of this story
It would be a TURNIP for the books if Bosc came to WTW, but I cannot get my SWEDE round it. He certainly knows his ONIONS as a halfback and if we offer the right CARROT he may LETTUCE see what he can do. As long as he is not a LEMON and does not LEEK too many points he may add to our squad. There may be a a SQUASH on the terraces and PEAS could be difficult if we continue signings of this ilk.

| Bosc would be a lovely signing.
Proven in Super League and versatile.
On a different note, when our financial plight came to light, Liam Kaye was marked as a definite keep.
Now we are starting to assemble a decent squad, is Liam a must sign or have we put the ball back in his court?

| Bosc won't be in a wakey kit next year whether he's been shopping in wakey or not.

| Quote: Fergus "I think it is important to let you all know that not only is my lad working on the checkout and trolleys at Sainsburys Trinity Walk but that he also saw a Mr Tomas Bosc perusing the vegetable section yesterday morning. I reckon he is for us or maybe he was just looking for some parsnips.
I kid ye all not - BELIEVE !!!'"

| Unfortunately Wakefield is in close proximity to a number of other rugby league clubs so he could be touting for work with a number of them?
Although Wakey have dropped hints with the press that Agar will exploit his French connection as the national coach which has not yet been done?
Has Bosc really produced much decent form within the last few seasons? If cheap then yes lets av him for back up in the squad but It'd be good to have a real genuine experienced scrum half in the squad with proven NRL or SL quality more so than another utility back player like Bosc.
Just to keep the veg link going....
“All our progress is an unfolding, like the vegetable bud, you have first an instinct, then an opinion, then a knowledge, as the plant has root, bud and fruit. Trust the instinct to the end, though you can render no reason.”
Ralph Waldo Emerson quotes (American Poet, Lecturer and Essayist, 1803-1882)
