Good signing,and personally I am happy enough with a one year contract. I have always had reservations about giving shall we say "more experienced" players long contracts,preferr the club to keep options open with players who may be more susceptible to long term injuries ?. I have no real evidence of this to be honest,just a theory thats always stayed with me.

What about John Sione Kite who has just been released by Widnes? He's played at a high standard at prop in NRL. He's definately big enough at 6 foot 3 tall and nearly 18 stone. He may also come cheap if we can't get Manuafakoa on 2 year deal ?

Regarding Kite - ask yourself why Widnes let him go.
