| I thought the Bulls just about edged it on paper and the scoreline probably reflected the difference between the sides. Sykes will never be a top stand off and both sides gifted the other cheap territory.
It was nice to go out there on a high though in what could be a tough week ahead for players and supporters,

Story of the season; tries and games thrown away. Overall, as so many have said, our future is brighter than maybe it has ever been in my 42 years....but the mistakes seem to point to a badly coached side to me and the continual de ja vu of it all pours a little cold water on the excitement I feel. What goes on on the pitch still matters and it just ain't good enough. 3yr deal or no 3 yr deal for Agar, the deficiencies of some of our players taken into account, we are under-performing and I don't see it changing. I feel I've seen enough of Richard Agar. I like him as a bloke from the way he comes across publicly but we are as bereft of genuine organisation as we have been from game 1. There are some great plays but some shocking errors and appalling defensive organisation...and it just keeps on happening over and over. Say what you like about John Kear, can you honestly say we would be as badly organised as we are now? I can't see. If it isn't too big a financial hit, we need a change at the top, sooner rather than later for me.

| Two weeks ago we were the best thing since sliced bread, now after two close games with some poor refereeing we're clueless
People need to take a
Maybe wake up and smell the coffee, personally some of the team didn't play well today but I still think we are 100% better than we were 10 weeks back

No need to chill. no ones slagging anyone off but if you don't think that we played "clueless" rugby in the second half then you can't have been at Odsal.
We had no idea how to break the defence down, yes i thought Hicks did his bit but come on, if we can praise them then we can have a constuctive go back.

| It's evident most people are frustrated because the side has real potential and shows glimpses of what it's capable of. But mixed in within that are moments of bewilderment and the same problems and errors we've seen in previous weeks.

I didn't think we were the best thing sinced sliced bread after Hull and said so much the chagrin of some....and I can't see this 100% improvement. All season we can play some very expansive and exciting stuff. This is mixed with not having a clue what a dummy runner is, inexplicably, for periods of matches, forced passes going to ground in dangerous areas, poor kicks intermittently, daft pens, unforced errors from kick offs...the brainfarts someone keeps mentioning; even though we have played a little better over the past 6 games, it is all very repetitive and I don't see any lessons learned, certainly not over 80 mins, and that is how long a game lasts, so it's no use being flashy for bits if you are useles for bigger bits...which is the story of our season.

| The squad aint good enough, and some players overated. Many of you on the site expect too much from an average team and get crazy after a win or two. I also think JK should have been given one season, but he wasnt so we have to live with what we have got.

| We've gone from scoring 3-4 tries a game to scoring 5/6 or 7 so I would say that's 100% improvement
Defensively we still manage to let 30+ points in so no change there.
I was at Odsall today and will be in Perpignan next weekend to support my team.
We are playing far better rugby than we were 10 weeks ago and the team does seem to be gelling, however I will admit that Mathers has had a couple of nightmare games, but if a couple of Mr Hicks decissions had gone our way today we would have beaten the Bulls, I know we gave up some cheap ball but so did the Bulls.

| Couldnt get today but lets be honest until the Millenium game we had problems scoring trys.Since Sykes has been at 6 at least we can score now that is an improvement we now need to start to wise up when we dont have the ball and stop the silly errors.I have said before we are a work in progress and we all would have been well happy with where we are now when we had just come out of Admin.
Yes I aint a great fan of Agar and dont think he has what it takes but at least give the bloke a chance.

Don't agree at all. Not specific to this post so don't think I'm having a go but I don't blame Agar at all.
It is not Agar's job to teach them how to catch the ball.
The players on the field have to take responsibility for that today. A lot played really hard and some were soft. But as with Leeds, we made mistakes and gifted them posession. Mathers in particular. That was the difference today.
Ref didn't help either but that shouldn't have been enough.
Just watched Full time and our tries were great.

| As attackers, we are entertaining. As defenders, it is all scramble and madness and not enough measured calm, which is why we get caught out on our own line. When it was grunt-defending further up the pitch, we did okay, but on our own line, we were poor.
One of most surprising signings this year has been Sykes, but one message: pack it in with the reverse kicks. You don't know where the touchline is, and the attackers aren't expecting to chase it. So they don't.

| In fairness, I dont think that we are clueless. We lost the game due to individual errors.
Kicking out on the full (twice), knocking on with no attacking player putting pressure on (at least twice), dropping the ball with nobody within 15 metres.
These are schoolboy errors !
We did lack some attacking idesa in the second half and there was a tendancy to be a bit one dimensional (expecting that Ali could create some magic), but we lost the game through our own stupidity and not because we were outplayed.
Are we lacking intensity because there is nothing left to play for ?

| Agar is scathing about the performance saying too many players did not turn up and highlighting things that people have posted.
Lets hope a weeks hard training can put things right.
