Well if Wildcats fans get there early we should get in the northstand easy, the fans was first class today loud and proud..

Brilliant atmosphere in there today & exactly what it was built for IMO.
It was great to be in there & the players really appreciated it.

The only downside was that because of BV's layout/peoples attitude to moving positions they've always stood in/WTW's attitude to "leave it open" it will be back to business as usual next week.

Really wish it could have been ready before the season, then it could have been walled off & sold from preseason as a "kop".

If nothing else today could have been a preview of the "kop of the future". The standing area behind the sticks at NM will sell out fast. That'll be well worth the wait!

YES but none of the nonsense that developed around the Cas game. That was like back to the 70's football hooliganism..very distasteful and disappointing. It should not be encouraged to become some sort of thicko territorial battle for this newly covered end. If we want to have our fans up that end great...remember we are RL fans and not footy s and welcome Hull fans there!!

if hull fans want to go into that end then i suggest the club add a fiver onto the price at the turnstyle, see how their fans like being ripped off.

And what as that got to do with me or any other Wakefield fan that go in the North stand, so your saying we should not go in the north stand..?? because away fans stand up there..?? I have stood in the north stand on and off from 1979 and not been in one fight, we want fans to chant and sing and enjoy the game, so we are asking fans who like a chant and to shout our boys on to go north, as the roof helps, we are not encouraging battles on the terraces, so get off your high horse and stop saying that we encouraging footy hooliganism

Seems like the players appreciate the noise coming from the new Fleetmaster stand too judging by Kirmos latest Tweet:

I think the problem is that we are trying to manufacture a 'home end' that hasn't been there for a long time. It doesn't help that it also happens to be the end where the majority of away fans stand and certainly those who bring a large support. You can't fault the club for trying this but these things take time and hopefully we wont be at Belle Vue long enough to make this happen. The games against Salford and London have shown the good side of the roof with Wakey fans making plenty of noise. We all know what happened at the cas game and hopefully those set of circumstances will never come together again. However at the Wire game all it served to do was give the Wire fans an opportunity to make a lot of noise for their team even if that did involve using a drum! I just fear this is what will happen when the hull clubs, leeds, Wigan possibly Saints will do as well. Personally I'd be encouraging those who wish to chant and create an atmosphere to go down to chav corner as it's unlikely any away fans will be down there and it is a more realistic area to make a home only area.
