| I kicked for the Eric France Gold Bar against Wigan a few years ago - from the Half way line in trainers, against the wind and it was throwing it down. The "gold bar - which was actually a lead ingot sprayed gold" waas top prize - I got the runners up prize of a pair of socks and a baseball cap!!!!!

| Played in one of the half-time games in the seventies, and so I have played competitive rugby on there. We lost 18-3 against Snapethorpe, which is quite a feat in 10 minutes.

As soon as i saw him I thought my card was marked my game plan of booting the ball as far as I could then running after it, back-fired. Was all fun anyway

| Had the joy of kicking ronnie the rhino and a leeds fans ass at shedingley a few years back ( when karl pratt did that cheap shot on keating ) in the half time challenge. Messed me about for my prize too! Typical whinos not quite belle vue but loved gloating infront of the south stand

I may have been in that Snapethorpe team - sounds like we gave you a right towelling.

I can now die a happy man ( not for a few years I hope being only 30) knowing i ran, baywatch style onto the best pitch in rugby league, even if it isn't the best stadium before we leave
Really I thought it was Jarrad Hickey that came back

Me too. Probably different eras though.
Of course there are lots who have played on that pitch for their job but as a fan it is a nice memory to say you've played on it as well.

22151_1298059614.jpg LOOKING FOR ACCOMMODATION IN ORLANDO, FLORIDA

| Played and scored a try at the south end (Hospitality Boxes) when there was a South Stand about 40 years ago playing for a Wakefield Trinity Supporters Club team against Corby Pioneers. It was part of a "Sports Spectacular" event that included other sports so there was a few watching.
I felt like a $1m to get changed in the same dressing room, walk out of the tunnel that used to be on the half way line under the East Stand and play on the hallowed turf that my heros such as Neil Fox, Ian Brooke etc. played on - it will always be one of my fondest memories of Belle Vue.

The Les Pounder Trophy? Played in a few for St Micks late 80's against Snapey, Crofton, Crigg etc. There were no kicks at sticks after a try, we could do with that rule now

Will have been in 1976-77 season, I think, and the main game was Swinton.

Not sure, i've just turned 25 so about 9 - 10 years ago. Played and trained on it a few time's. Ellis and Westwood both spent time with us at some point along with a couple of other's. Got to play on a few pitches around the country doing it. Fantstic experience.

| I went to a 40th party at Belle Vue before season started dressed as Wheres Wally...on my way out i stripped off and ran knacker bear full length and dived under sticks. That pitch was beautiful!
