Ossett Brewery's Big Red (other than the title) is the best i have tasted.
I opted for the covered stand yesterday so I was limited to watching the game without refreshment but I will have to sample the 1873 when the weather allows it. |

Yorkshire Blonde is my favourite regular Ossett ale, but they sometimes brew an IPA called Revolution, which is simply super.
Overall favourite beer has to be Pale Rider from Kelham Island brewery - a cracking pint.*

Enjoyed a bottle before the game. Fair size bottle, can't be far off a pint priced at £3.00, very generous for a bottled beer considering a Bud would probably be around £3.50 in town. Nice tasting beer, overall impressed.

I'm a big fan of Ossett treacle stout but I do like all the beers they produce. I'm just love real ales either the blonde beers like bob's chardonale or the dark porters and milds.
I believe that a massive real ale shop is due to open in ossett soon.
