| If Brough is pencilled in for the reserve match the day after the KR match surely it is not inconceivable that he could actually make the team

Think we'd go the other way round to be honest with JD at 6 and Martin at 7.

i think the question is, will JK choose to back the lads to win at KR or show his 'desperation' hand by including broughy in the 17?
psychologically it could work in either way....it could put an element of doubt in KRs mind knowing there is some class in the team or it could go the other way by making them think we are desperate

Having only one specialist half-back in the team put huge pressure on Drew, he has been a revelation so far this season for us but we don't want to risk crocking him.
Bringing Brough back, if he is considered fully-fit, without a reserve team game may be a gamble but it is not as if anyone will have to lose their place to accommodate him - he will just be a straight swap for Obst.
For all their valiant efforts a Martin/ JD half-back line would find it hard against a buzzing Dobson and a rejevenated Cooke.

| In a worse case scenario where Drew is the only fit recognised half back, would it be feasible to move Blaymire to 6 and have Martin at 7?
Haley could drop to full back, with George coming in on the wing.
Blaymire has covered at 6 before, and played there in friendly’s, and Haley has covered at full back for Bradford.
All that does however also depend on George being fit enough to play!!

Cookes injured at the moment had a scan on a wrist problem. Young I'Anson played v Saints, maybe a few big hits off JD could shake him up a bit??
