Top six 2005 - Trinity.: |

6 and 9 would be the first thing we need to find. We need quality in these positions even if it means using quota.
I wouldn’t personally be happy going into next season with just Gale and Lino as our halves.

| Look at the spine the last time we were in the lower division
Holland
Casey
Kenworthy
Southernwood
Fuller
The likes or Croft, Platt, Kershaw, Griffin, Tanginoa, Matautia would be devastating running off that spine

| The names banded about so far are better than what we have at present and would have walked into our super league team , so it’s a no brainier for me , they will do a great job for a season or two for us but obviously not if /when we get back amongst the big boys .

| Powell will have a list of the players just like Tony Smith did when taking over Hull Fc of who he fancies within the squad on contract or off. Jake Connor was shipped straight out of Hull as he didn’t fancy him. Personally all 3 players linked are far superior to anything we have already in SL never mind the championship.

| Tanginoa Leeds bound? If they keep him fit he'll be very destructive for them.

He’d be even more destructive in the championship for Trinity with Griffin in the other second row. I would be looking to retain him if he has got over his injury problems ofcourse.

| Not for me. Destructive yes but defensively he leaves his centre completely open.

He’s been average to poor the last 2/3 years and only players a handful of games this year. I wouldn’t be bothered if he went tbf.

| Tanginoa, with the ball destructive, without the ball he is a defensive liability at times. He would absolutely rip it up in the Championship but I think we could could get better value for money elsewhere. I would be surprised if a SL side doesn't come in for him.

Think it is down to how good the physio are at the club, T J moved to Catalan and as played just about every match .Hope this is some thing that will be looked at by new owners.

| Tanginoa is one of the few super league standard players we have, it’s not a surprise that he is generating interest. Yes he has some deficiencies hence why he’s not still in the NRL, but he is one of the most destructive ball runners around and would kill it next year in the championship. He’s had a bad year with injuries this year but prior to that he has hardly missed a game through injury. He’ll be a loss.

Griffin covers that loss for me. He is destructive and can do 80 minutes.
I like Tanginoa and would keep but he's not first pick for me. Pitts would get right second row before him for me.

Pitts reminds me of how Washbrook was when he was in the team. Very much went under the radar with what he did on the field (apart from the Leeds playoff game ) Both very consistent at doing the basics right. Probably what we need next year, nothing fancy. Get the job done sort of player, that doesn't cost a bomb.
I've got to say though, there aren't many players I've enjoyed watching more when down at Belle Vue in recent ears than Kelepi. Very explosive and has some real pace to compliment the break made.
Be a shame to see him go, could only really see him picked up by Cas or heading back to Aus.
