I think now the new HoT and expected council take on it today is out in the open then there is scope for one more meeting. Telling them face to face that it is not acceptable and will lead to legal action is the best way to gague their reaction and takes away the 'they have refused to meet to discuss the new terms' argument that they will surely use. Set very short timescales (i'm thinking by the end of the month) and if they refuse to attend or comply then you have that feather in your bow moving forward and they don't. Doesn't have to be nicely nicley, make the meeting as uncomfortable and frank as possible and even short and sweet if they refuse to budge. It may seem futile but it needs to be done IMHO, they will use any leverage against you they can should it get dirty so cover every possible base. Once that is done should there be no positive outcome then it is the time to move. Legal action should always be the very last resort, it's costly, time consuming and given they would throw the kitchen sink at it leaves a very real possiblility of losing the case which leaves us stone dead.

Just playing Devil's Advocate here (I'm sure the real one will be along shortly !!), whilst I am in with everyone else in wanting to see these Sheisters brought to justice, BUT, assuming we do succeed in this aim, then what will be the likely outcome ??
Are they possibly looking at criminal proceedings for fraud, or in Box's case, misconduct in a public office ??
What have our legal team advised so far on possible outcomes ??

When will that decision be made and announced?

The club needs to hold a press conference and lay bare all the dirty deeds that have been on-going for the past few years and fully expose these cretins for who they really are

Like many others on here I don't personally know many of the people involved with the club or the community trust. I do know that everyone of them has what's best for the club at heart. If they think legal action is the best option then I am in no position to disagree. I don't trust Mackie, Box or Walker ( though I can't help but think his name should have an 'n' instead of an 'l' in it). For my mind there is no doubt MC & CB are doing what is best for the club, they've put their money where their mouths are. The other members of the trust have always kept us informed where and when they could. Having known Jonathan as long as I have, probably longer than most on here, he his a Wakefield lad (despite being a Leeds fan). I really do trust what he says and that's enough for me to trust the others involved on this side of the fence.

It seems (to put it bluntly) Wyatt Box, Sundance Mackie and Buffalo Walker, have stitched the club and the city up good and proper.

The city council have one hell of a legacy over the course of time. Wakefield will be largest city in England without any kind of professional sports team.

It's now time for the gloves to come off and fight fire with. Get as many members of the media on side as quickly as possible. You can just sense that this is not going to end well for certain parties on the other side.

Jeremy Cross at the Daily Star seems to have the bit between his teeth regarding this whole sorry mess, he appears to be a good ally. It would be interesting to get Danny Lockwoods take on the latest news.

I echo everything Trinfan71 says, and the rest. We are lucky in that most, if not all fans trust MC and the trust to do what's right in this fight against those sociopaths trying to ruin this great club and their attempts drag this city further and further down the tubes. Whatever is agreed I'm in. Dig deep lads, dig deep, who knows what will come out of all this.

From the bits I know about whats gone on at the council over the years, its not only Newmarket but other things. Its odds on a good forensic accountant would certainly uncover enough to put the whole corrupt bunch under special measures. This council has acted no better than Dony or Rotherham and needs serious investigation.

However we have an MP who seems to sit on her harris preening herself in her cosy London home.

We should not have to use crowd funding the fraud office ought to be looking into this lot

Bet Box, Walker and Mackie are gutted we are having such a good season as certainly makes it harder for them to try and ignore us on this issue, although they are still doing their best
