| Quote Belle Vue="Belle Vue"Dodgy sticks are definitely contributing to skys thinking moving forward. Sticks are a much bigger problem than people think..and sky can’t control it.
But the emergence of women’s soccer, some other minor sports, and the greedy premier league means sky are looking to put rugby league on the back burner.
I can’t help but think that the reason for showing every game on sky is to see how that goes ( because it certainly won’t benefit clubs regarding away support) if they think the numbers are there they might try to run an app where you pay a subscription fee for the season to watch what you want.
The problem they will have is how to stop the dodgy stick outfits accessing their content…
I believe we have the product… it’s up to IMG to promote it.
I also believe that we need to do something with the people at the top of the RFL as their running of the sport for the past 30 years has been nothing short of a shambles..'"

| The game needs to quickly think of a future without sky because the way things are going they won't be around much longer. My wife has a lot or relatives over in Ireland and sky is just about extinct over there as everyone gets it by 'other means' Same in Spain every bar shows sky by the same methods. Their subscription numbers are declining every year and it will come to a point where their business model in its present form is not sustainable.

| Sky have lost so much football over the years that its offering is poorand hideously overpriced. I dont know many NFL fans but to have a whole channel dedicated to it baffles me. I would guess they will have a Rugby League channel dedicated next season to try and enhance its appeal but no idea how they will fill the dead time.
Its almost a joke that on a saturday one show can cover 5 sky sports channels and they charge what they do for it, its just not worth the money and as said, people find other ways and means of watching what they want to watch. Sky is stuck in the past and needs to drastically change there model to be sustainable.

| I just watch Sky Sports mainly for F1 and RL, though my viewing of RL has gone down with the demise of our club. As soon as the checkered flag goes down on the last race this year I'm going to cancel SS for at least till the 1st race of the season

| I fell out with F1 when that spoiled brat Verstappen started winning everything with help from the FIA of course, so haven't bothered with that this season. We do watch the NFL on there though and have enjoyed watching the London Series which has been on for the last 3 weeks but now that has finished it will be back to the usual Sunday evening matches only.

| We certainly don’t need to worry about Sky or currently any TV coverage because there is no deal for the Championship games next season. We will need to get use to minimal media coverage which unfortunately goes with the position we find ourselves.

| Along with the rest of the Championship clubs there's nothing we can do about TV coverage other than get a decent Challenge Cup and 1895 cup run. We all need to get the clicks going on Trinity's other SM platforms though.
