| We are moving to Dewsbury while they build a big white box on the pitch.

| Mr Carter's "Exceptional news" could be as disappointing as Mr Glover's "Most important meeting in Trinity's history" at Cedar Court

| I guess that depends on whether you've been happy losing every single player over the last 20 years that the bigger clubs have taken away..........

Well at least that narrows it down to a player. Good or great news I would suggest, but players come and go. Truly exceptional would be something that could sort the club out for the next 50 years or so.

| I think the turnaround in status that sees us become a club at which our very best young players want to stay, whom they choose over more successful clubs is actually quite exceptional.
Tom Johnstone, Max Jowitt, Jacob Miller and now it seems James Batchelor have had good opportunities to follow the path of many young Wakefield players but seem to have belief in our clubs future.

Fair enough. Guess we just have differing views

Again it's a positive no doubt, but in reality it doesn't trump the ultimate elephant in the room.

I think the fact that they're eager to stay despite the elephant makes it even more exceptional

| I spoke to him at the Club shop today. As always a real gent.
Told him I was cautiously optimistic for the season ahead. Reply; he's genuinely excited about what is going on and he particularly referred to players wanting to re-sign for us.
I asked him if there was any news he could tell me about grounds...he said it was a dead subject at the moment and nothing was happening. I suppose he isn't going to reveal anything sensitive or confidential but I thought I'd chance my arm and ask anyway! All I'll say is either he has a great poker face or he genuinely meant what he said on the ground. Judging by the comments on here about player signings and his comments on signings, I'd say it's signings

Like I said it's great you've got the club to such a place the young players feel they can grow here, but I think the stadium issue is pretty much all consuming. Without it those great young players will move on in 2 or 3 years anyway. With it we could see 10 testimonials like Wigan and Leeds have.

| He also said we'd taken 10k that day in the shop and it was only 2.15! If we have a lot of days like that it will be exceptional. Keep buying folks!
