No he has not - not one decent game i two years and if he's the answer then I give up.

Yep every time, you're clutching at straws. Irony is that had he played more often you'd be the first to bag hi - are you just contrary for fun?

Something behind the scenes has gone off ,that is for sure.
Seems to be a lot of that at the moment .'"
It's almost everything to do with them, he's been gash for us from day one - jeez of;k are desperate if this charlatan is our saviour.

| Your opinion only o great one. Given that he has had so little play time this year I think your assessment is flawed. Stands back and waits for insults.

No wish to insult you at all. I understand your desire for something positive but IMHO Sammut simply isn't it. If you can name one game in which he's played that he's shown anything like the form he showed at Crusaders and Bradford I may reconsider.
I firmly believe in the two games he played v Bradford last year he actually refused to participate - I've never seen such a wilful act in all my years - disgraceful IMHO.

| Quote: Bully_Boxer "So he isn't rated by Wakefield but he's a threat come the middle 8's if he joins Bradford? I'm not sure I get the logic and I'd have thought freeing up his wage completely would allow Wakefield to bring somebody in they might actually play.'"
Assuming you have been watching Bradford for a number of years, you will know that on a few occasions Sammut has ripped Wakefield apart (which is presumably why we signed him).
Certainly, allowing Bradford to sign him, just in time for the middle 8's would be a big mistake.
What we have to do, when our new coach is installed is draw a line under what went on under Agar and Webster and start again.
No super stars, no favourites, just those who can and want to paly under the new coach
The guy does have ability but hasn't wanted to play (quite literally at times), as Wakefield want him to, isn't going to be popular with the coaching staff.

| The thing is with T Smith, he needs the right partner at Stand Off. Did we not learn that in his first stint with us when a chance pairing with Sykes suddenly unlocked the best of Smith.
Not sure that Sammut is the right partner for Smith

| Nail on head Avenger Smith has to have the right half back partner and I don't think Sammut would be saying that cant be any worse than Miller.

Many a true word. . .
I don't think it's the answer but it would probably make us more functional than we currently are.

If and its a big IF he's willing to play properly for us - shown no signs yet. If he did he'd be a massive bonus but I'm not convinced he ever will.

| I thought it would be common sense for any coach at a club like Wakefield that we need our best players on the pitch for the longest time they can be. Why Godinet spends half of it on the bench is ludicrous. He would compliment Smith at halfback as he would injext some pace and an ability to take the line on.
Another option would be to play Hall in the centre and move Lyne to the wing [where he would probably be better as he doesn't exactly feed his winger brilliantly] and drop Riley. [if you're of the opinion Riley hasn't been upto it]. Hall has definitely shown he can't do it at full back, that would allow us to have a look at him at centre and see how lyne and johnstone [our two quickest players] go on the wing.

Some good valid points made here and It would be difficult to argue with any of your post, but I'm sure somebody will
