| I agree. I predicted 10th (ish) at the start of the season, but find myself hopeful of a top 6/8 now. I'd swap playoffs for a wembley appearance though.

| Top 3 will be Leeds, Saints & Wigan in any given order. It seems Warrington are now starting to find form, Huddersfield also. Both though seem more vulnerable than last year. I could see Cas sneaking in above one of them, although probably not both. So 5th or 6th for Cas is my prediction.
As for us probably 3rd bottom unless Bradford get all their points back. If they do then it's squeaky bum time.

| I think Castleford are a well drilled and coached side. No superstars but each player knows their role and what is expected of them and they execute the game plan both in attack and defence pretty much to perfection. They play some excellent rugby that is a joy to watch.
They may not finish in the top 4 but I can see them in 5th or 6th and deservedly so on what I have seen of them.
Just shows what can be acieved and what we should be aiming for.

And the catalyst for the upturn in fortunes was getting rid of an underperforming coach. At the point they got shut of Millward they were struggling on the field, crowds were way down and they were struggling financially. But they took the punt and never looked back. Now they are third in the league, crowds are packing the ground out and they have sorted their finances on the back of it. Strange how a upwardly mobile club suddenly seems a more attractive investment. Take note Mr Carter.

Really, not sure I would to be honest though I do accept that winning the play offs is far more important these days.

| I may be in the minority, but I would, without doubt, rather see my team at wembley than old Trafford.
I accept that things can change and if we were big enough to be competing at the top end of SL consistantly after say 10 years then who knows, but as things stand the magic of wembley has not died for me.

| Quote Wakefield No 1="Wakefield No 1"You can go through a hundred different reasons why we weren't good enough today and in many games this season but the main thing was the players didn't look like they could be bothered right from the start! You compare that to say Wigan last night who had a team full of young un's who were up for the 'fight' (mostly too up for it!) and you think will our coach ever put the fire in the bellies to inspire the team to greater things??

same old story today...

Halfbacks need time to gel is my guess.

| I thought Godinet was good today, he just had no one to pass to.
A couple of times he ran to the line looked left and right, ran a bit offered a pass, and no one near him moved.
Moore was the most enthusiastic. Unfortunately too much in one case but it started because he shot out of the line to make a tackle no one else was going to.
McShane tried, Wildie was poor.
Kirmond I thought was poor, certainly by his own standards and I'm thinking he should take some of the hit for team mentality. Not just Agar, though Agar still takes it.
The wings and centres had literally no ball so can't say whether they were good or bad.
Mathers was aweful. Please never play him again.
I can only ashume it was Agar tactics to take them on up the middle. One out football. We should have been putting them under pressure but we invited them in.
Very disappointing,
