FWIW I'm confident we have the raw product of an international here.
What we have to do is support his transition & development at every stage.
With Tony Kemp's recommendation to add to that of Henry Paul, Monty Betham & Hull FC that's quite a good list of referee's to call in. I wish I had similar people in my field to call in on my CV!!!
If any WT fan's haven't already check out the games on the NSW cup site (too lazy to post a link!- it's Saturday!) I'd advise in doing so!
IJ plays a good creative game, albeit in the #13 role & has a decent kicking game with ball in hand- something we lacked since Broughy left! He'll blossom at #6 IMO.
From the info the club has posted out/ what Isaac has posted on twitter; his transition seems to be seamless. His visa was relatively quick, he was impressed with pictures of his house & was greeted at the airport by the clubs most senior staff. Even the most "down to earth" WTW fan must see this is a world away from where we were 2 years ago. Take Shane Tronc (my favourite #8 EVER!) and how he was treated by TR et al. Sickening to say the least!
"The Glover approach" seems to be doing the business & I'm confident, that with our rapidly recuperating reputation & long established history, we'll be a big draw from player & sponsors in years to come.
As far as IJ goes (and I'm willing to be quoted on this at a later date!!): In 18 months we'll be worrying if we can get him to sign an extension to keep the vultures (giants) away, this lad has the potential to be as good as Henry Paul IMO.
Once a Sandal Wild Cat always a Sandal Wild Cat.
Some talk of Bradford Northern and some of Hull and Leeds
Of Wigan and St Helens and such great teams as these
Of all the teams in Rugby league with me you will agree
The best team in the whole wide world is Wakefield Trinity!
Bring back the British Coal shirts for 2012
Come home Steve Georgallis & Nigel Wright

This was you last Sunday:
""Never felt more like singing the blues,
When Wakefield win Leeds Tiggers lose!
Oh Wakefield, you got me singing the blues."
I sang that in the car."
Now it's Agar out. Come on. It was one bad game. Yeah, if we fade away and the Catalan game was our highlight, you might have a point, but talk about reversal. Did you see Warrington on Friday? Awful. Will they be awful on Thursday? Probably not. Yeah, the London game stunk, but every single team has a game where they stink every year. We got to round 9 with just one stinking 40 minutes on our CV.

| You will never get consistency under Agar, I speak from experience when i say after every good win you know a demoralising defeat is round the corner, and we were a stronger team on paper than you are at the moment.

| Agar out my , judge the man on a full season. Some people are listening to the Hull idiots too much, how can you blame Agar for stupid penalties, a bent ref, dropped ball, crap kicking game. The players need to take a good look at themselves and put things right on Friday night, if it's the same then people need to be dropped for the likes of Wildie. Give the underperfomers a spell in the reserves until they get the message.

| Even given the admittedly low standards of coaching Agar brings to a club to get 'nilled' by a side like London is possibly the most embarrassing moment of the season.

| Cant understand why how many coaches Hull have gone through the last few years. And you get one come on here saying that Kear would have done miles better than Agar and then I wonder what happened at the Keepmoat in the semi.Kear did us well when needed and no one could knock him but that was in the past.Thats what FC fans need to realise Agar was in the past get over it.Ask any Widnes fan who was around at the time what they thought of Laughton as a coach then ask Leeds fans what they thought. For a side that have 18 new players in a performance like that was due at some point.Ask me what I think of Agar after a season and half then I might say rubbish or might be fantastic at the moment its to soon to say.

| Its now he has to earn his money as a coach. We obviously have a weakness defending kicks and its up to him to fix that up. Yes he's not responsible for individual errors but the set up looks wrong to me. All other clubs have 'blockers' offering protection to the winger catching the ball yet ours repeatedly are isolated meaning the attacking player has a free run and all the momentum going into the jump. This needs sorting asap or Chase and Orr will kill us on friday.

| Quote: Theboyem "Southern seems out of shape to me. He can't play enough minutes to justify being captain. You know what he is far from my favourite player but the best bet seem to be mathers.'"
I agree. I was at a wedding and watched the match on SKY. a few observations from a concerned supporter.
1. Southern seems to have what resembles a beer belly which in the 1970s & 1980s was acceptable for a second row or prop but for a 2012 Super League full time professional it is not. He is not on the pitch enough and although can tackle seems to do little else. Bad choice for captain. When you're team is playing crap like they did last night then its the captain and other experienced players that should come to the fore but Southern wasn't even on the pitch if he was then he hid.
2. Aiton does not run from dummy half anywhere near enough and thats how London got a roll on sometimes from dummy half. We're also not turning players onto their back enough to slow the play the ball down.
3. As for defending kicks Fox was isolated under the high ball and appeared to be weak in that area with a standing jump. There should be the centres/second row blocking runners and giving the wingers protection. Cockayne dropped a high ball for a try aswell.
4. We also seemed to play with absolutely no structure/composure and played worse in the second half than the first. Going sideways and then throwing the ball into touch or an aimless kick with no runners.
This is very concerning, what did R.A. say at half time? And if they didn't listen to the game plan then he should have used his remaining interchanges just to make a point to those key pivots calling the shots for WTW and taken them off.
5. If there is little or no improvement against Cas then there must be some changes around the ruck area and subject to injuries this must include consideration of Andy Ellis at hooker with Aiton to loose forward, give Trout, Walshaw and James a run and Washbrook on the bench.
Long term if the inconsistency continues there is a very good coach at Featherstone!

Have to agree with this. Southern looks nowhere near full fitness. It's no good having an experienced captain who is only on the field for half of the game. At the start of the season I thought we'd got a great signing and captain in Southern but over these last few weeks I've been highly disappointed with him and am questioning whether the captaincy should be handed to someone else, ideally someone who is on the field the full 80.

Saints didn't procrastinate and that is the difference, the common denominator on and off the pitch in a professional set-up is being ruthless.
We are all smart enough and wise enough to see what is unfolding at the club yet again.

Mate we will smash Cas on Friday and I'll be calling for Agar to be knighted again. I want us to do well and get momentum going but I know Agar won't be able to get the players motivated for the game after Cas and then I'll feel the same way.
It's the same old and we need to act and salvage the season.
