training went well tonight in preparation for the U13s Barla cup final between Stanley Rangers and Oulton Raiders that will be held this Saturday at College Grove stadium Wakefield,

today Stanley Rangers U13s take on Oulton Raiders in the Barla cup at College grove Wakefield K.O. I think is 12-30

going to be a hard game to win as they are the favorites as they have only lost once this season but they have a game plan and lets hope they play to it

Seen all this before Mutts, kinda brings back all the bad things about Junior RL, too many self interested pot chasing clubs and coaches.

I am not pointing the finger at the clubs/coaches mentioned because i don't know the facts but in general a few spoil it for the rest, if a kids moving on let him go with the clubs best wishes and no ill feeling, who's to say he won't be back in the future.

NO club have the right to stop kids playing the game under the rules of the governing body.

cas panthers u11s took the cas bragging rights ending newly promoted lock lanes unbeaten run with a last gasp 28-24 win,in a game played in good spirit both sides went hammer and tong exchanging tries through out the game with never anymore than one score between the sides at any time.

its hard to describe the intensity in which the cas derby`s are played and the build up to the game is very nerve racking for the kids but all 36 of them that took to the field were fantastic and not one bit of foul play throughout the game.

its down to Oulton anyway.

Oulton is by far the Superior side of the age, we was taken apart from the start, it finished a whitewash 34 - 0. it didn't help losing one of our players to a shoulder injury within the first few minutes as the team revolves around his dynamic runs, we was literally torn apart.

Crigg U11's managed to hang on and beat East Leeds 16-14 . We were quite poor defensively especially in the second half ,maybe they thought the game was won and they switched off ...don't know ?
Shaw Cross at home next week , hope they've managed to get some more players in the winter break ,i'm pretty sure they only had 10 signed on before .We're going to end up with another team full watching from the side of the pitch if that's the case .Be nice to unleash young mutts too if the paperwork gets done in time , poor lad hasn't played since November and can't wait to play .
