"The Kiwi-born 26-year old said he is enjoying his time in the UK and at Wakefield, and is keen to extend it."
Seems like an agents strategy to accelerate getting an extension sorted out; fair play I would've thought, given the time of year.

| Think the RFL should get to grips with the timings re contracts, All contracts should run until end of October, clubs should have to November to sign up any players out of contract. A player that a club does not want to re sign must be informed that he is free to talk to other clubs by end of November week one. Any player that has not reached agreement to re sign with his ` existing club `by end of November then becomes free to talk to other clubs.
This would prevent the disruptive madness that exists now where team spirit etc can be destroyed mid season as some players are unhappy with offers, or have been approached by other clubs etc. Lets play Rugby during the season and leave all the player negotiating for the close season.

Be good if we can get him back on the pitch fit....although at the moment if they were all fit would he be ahead of Hall, Gibson, Lynne and Arundel at centre? I'm not so sure.
Think all imports should be players whose names are likely to be the first on the team sheet and we have some that aren't even if they were fit.
Aren't BBC really accurate in their coverage?

| Well this isn't proper rugby to them is it? Some thing those northern ruffians play. I had a look in a discarded Times in the doctors waiting game room last week,2 full pages of union and a little corner of league. (The naughty corner?)

I reckon you can read into that what you want. In other news Bill Tupou says: "Chezza is a good coach, he has brought the team together and by the looks of it everyone wants to stay because of him" - So you could also read into that and say Arona wants to stay. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

| Matty Ashurst is a priority signing for me.
Arona, Kirmond and Sio are followed after.

| I didn't think of Moore. How long is he signed for?
He is probably the most important to me. Very valuable to our team and worth linking to the club long term.

| I think it is very important for us to keep as many as possible.
Continuity breeds success, and it is plain to see that those clubs that are successful, don't have a revolving door at the end of each season, with loads of comings and goings.
Maybe, offload Tansey, not getting the game time, and probably on a decent salary, and replace with a back up half back, if this doesn't happen prior to the seasons end, and maybe Hirst for Anderson, if he decides to go home this year.
Also, we have unfortunately lost Morris, and in all honesty, not too sure about Owen at this stage, had a horrific injury and not played for us since, do we bring in a three quarter

| There were moans at the beginning of the season about the size of the squad but it's paying off at the moment.
We will be on our 4th and 5th centre this week assuming Gibson and Hall play, with Tupou, Lyne and Arundal all out injured.
Jowitt's rise to first team has really helped as it freed up BJB for the wing and Hall for the centre.
