A small issue surrounding the appeal this afternoon.
Which part(s) of the Bulls situation are the panel looking at and have the been given some parameters by the RFL which may "help" them with their conclusions.

For instance, IF they were to look at the current ownership in relation to any "wrong doing", they will come out fairly "clean". However, an afternoon meeting 2-6pm wouldn't give them time to investigate all of the issues over the last 5-6 months.

If Bulls do get points back maybe AG was better going into admin and then MC coming in after. Farce.

As this,selected by the RFL,independent panel,cannot make the situation any worse for Bradford Bulls,could someone enlighten me as to who will have paid for the time and expertise of the independent panel members?

If the independent panel come to the conclusion that the RFL have erred,would Bradford therefore be entitled to compensation?

I apologise in advance for losing track of this saga some time ago.

That's what we wanted to do but the RFL said we'd be kicked straight out of SL so we had to sell half the team

Don't want to be seen to be drawing other teams into this conflict/relegation but Salford fans don't appear fazed that we're only one point behind you so if Bradford do get six points back, they too will be a point behind you, and as a consequence you'll be dragged into the relegation dogfight?

Absolutely and that is what niggles me so much. One treatment for one and another for us.

Is the fact that they've been in administration twice since we were lost on people?

I also recall the RFL issuing a statement that they would be harsher on clubs who chose the administration route or fell into it.

4 points deduction was sufficient for us and Crusaders a few years ago before the threat of a more severe penalty.

I genuinely feel for the Bradford fans, they are the innocents in this who are suffering. However the RFL have to make a stand and say that financial incompetence and lack of responsibility to their employees, stakeholders, creditors and the good of the game will not be tolerated.

If Bradford get their points back it will set a very dangerous precedent for the RFL and the game. All future transgressions could be challenged and make our governing body as useful as the UN trying to stop the 2003 war in Iraq.

They have done by deducting them 6 points, it's now an 'independant panel' who are going to decide.
