| Won't be long now before the apologists start to come round to the realisation that we have a duff coach. I expect the inevitable Good Friday defeat to Cas to be the tipping point where panic starts to set in. The Bulls implosion may yet save Trinity, Agar certainly won't.

I can't believe there are people who actually think we have anything but a duff coach.

That's a very harsh comment about Hunslet RLFC and Ryan Bailey.

Agar has admitted it was an experiment. Beggers belief.

| I wonder why Smith has been dropped then? I'd take him over Washbrook and Raleigh anyday.

I was a radio listener but could only stomach it until half-time. If that is the case, that it was a experiment, why do it in a potential 4-pointer? Experiment against London at home or away at Saints.

Don't kid yourself, the majority never wanted rid of John Kear, Peter Sharp or Peter Gentle.
Kath Hetherington wanted Agar to get the job and it was she who gave him an extension on his contract when everyone could see he was not up to the job and had an awful success rate. What you get with RA is false dawns, it's a roller coaster ride, one that inevitably comes to a stop when you reach the bottom.

| Quote: TRB "Seijka was poor today. He was dropping off tackles and making poor choices. Matty would gave been far better on that showing, but then so would Mathers at FB and Smith in the pack.
I'm not in the 'Agar out' camp, but I am in the 'what were you thinking?' Camp!'"
'What were you thinking?' is something we have said many, many times about Agar, which is why I can't believe anyone would want to keep him as our coach. Can we afford to sack him? With relegation, can we afford not to? I was disappointed when we first appointed him. I was incredulous when we gave him a huge contract extension. 7 matches. This is all we have had when we had anything resembling a side. The rest has swung between ordinary and abysmal. Today was utterly typical of Agar's teams. Disorganised, lacking in fire, prone to errors. I'm bored with it now to be honest. I went today because I live in Beverley but to tell you the honest truth, I won't be coming much whilst Agar remains as coach, so ask yourself another question about affording sacking him. I will not waste my Sunday off a hard job and 50 quid to see a team so badly organised and lacking in motivation. The last 30 minutes, players falling off tackles; well if you can't be bothered to show up guys, nor can I. Agar is notorious as a coach who cannot motivate. His half time team talk ability to send a winning side out to a 2nd half defeat is legendary at Hull and Trinity. He is an assistant coach, end of. He is out of his depth and MUST GO. TRINITY BOARD, you need to start thinking and listening to your fans. More and more have had enough. It is now an absolute priority A1 imperative to get a new man in charge with fresh ideas(any ideas!!) to give us a chance this year.

He was preferred in the run on team to Tautai who's been our best forward this season. Washbrook was very poor today (not unexpected) he was missing tackles and the ball was dead everytime it went to him.'"

| Maybe the lack of motivation is down to the musical chairs in the starting line up?
Everybody was in agreement that when Washbrook went off against Catalans, we looked a better team, this carried on against London and to an extent against Saints.
Mathers not been particularly good this season so far but bagged 4 tries against London and had a reasonable game against Saints.
His confidence must be up, so to drop him at the wrong time, is another baffling decision.
Not to go over the same ground again but I think extending RA's contract by a further 2 years, when he still had twelve months left, is possibly the only poor decision MC has made.
Somebody posted on another thread that RA is like a cook with a lot of good ingredients but continues to produce omelettes.
Doing it here and did it at Hull with a bigger budget and better players.

Washbrook is shot. Has been for 18 months at least. It is tiem fo him to retire or lead a Championship side. Agar's persistence is yet another example of his frightening inability to see weaknesses in his side. Mr Carter, spare us any more of this, I beg you

| Surely anyone in their right mind wouldn't experiment against a team that you potentially could end up against in a relegation battle ?
Championship here we come
