| Feather played for Wyong last season in the local Newcastle competition which is fairly strong, he impressed enough to be offered a contract from Parramatta but he knocked it back because of his personal training business.
He would be worth giving an opportunity imo.

That's a bit of a contradiction but then so is Feather. He isn't past his best, as a prop his best should just be happening now. Oddly he was at his best as a 19 year old, people have short memories. When Feather burst on the scene under Harbins guidance he was a revelation - outstanding on the Academy tour of Australia which is why Leeds payed big money for him. Whatever went wrong with Feather it happened at Leeds and he didn't get it back on loan with us or at Bradford.
I generally agree that he probably isn't worth it now, he's had his chance - but if he really wants another go you can't deny the potential is their even now.
Somebody mentioned Snitch is out of favour at Cas, now there is a lad IMO who deserves game time.

| If the Amor news is true, then that's a good outcome; judging by the way he celebrated his try against Hull, he seems happy at Wakey and can only be benefitting from game-time.

I agree he did seem to love that try. Would be surprised if Leeds let him play against them but i seem to remember Kirmond playing against Huddersfield last year so it is not unheard of.

Speaking of Kirmond - has he made an appearance for Shudds so far this season? Another player who seemed to enjoy his period at Wakey and is now twiddling his thumbs on matchdays and missing out on SL game-time.

He deffo isn't playing regular games but i think that 2nd row is one position where we may need another player in the squad espescially with Kingy being out which will mean that Hendo will play prop.
However if he did come would he get a starting place because we have Morrison and Mariano who have been outstanding so far this season and both play 80 with no problems.

Have I missed something about Amor? Would be happy if he stayed longer but thought he was going back.
As for Feather, I think he'd be ok for us. Certainly as a short term fix.
Kirmond, I'm 50-50. He'd be good for us but I agree with the comment about Morrison and Mariano. It would be good to spell players occassionally but I think it depends on what front row we have to how we build the back row.
............but, if we are going to go get a second row from Hudds who are not playing at the moment who enjoyed his time at Trinity, we might as well get Ferguson!

| Looks like he could be here until the end of the season providing Leeds do not suffer another injury crisis. Good news IMO.

I wasn't necessarily suggesting that he came to us, as I agree that we're well served in that position. It was just an observation really; it must be very frustrating for these promising young lads, to be picked up by a 'glamour' club, then find themselves cooling their heels in the stands every weekend.

| When chris feather was at cas he had a really good first half of the season then just seemed to lose interest, if you can motivate him he may be a good short term signing.
