Quote: wrencat1873 "You do know that there have been pollution "red alerts" in the UK too ?

I've not travelled in India but, I have been to both China and Italy and from my experience there was absolutely no comparison.
When you look up into the Sky in China, there is no blue Sky, just a grey haze.
At least in Rome, when the sun shines, you can see the sun.

Although people with breathing issues are more susceptible to the covid virus, as are those people with certain types of diabetes and other health issues, it is the virus that caused so many fatalities.
Without covid19, the vast majority of the victims would still be alive.'"

Hi wrencat, can you check over my post on page 24 and point out any errors I made regarding the mainstream media's perception of events.
I need to be corrected if I've got anything wrong.

Quote: Miro "For those here and in the media who love to use Italy as a yardstick for how "devastating" the C_19 virus is...just consider the report below.
I often say “follow the money” but lets add to that “follow the pollution”. Add to this the mis diagnosis of the disease on many death certificates and a whole different picture arrases.

Just how bad is pollution in Italy?

The countries with the worst pollution are....wait for it....China, Iran, India (and a few tiny countries) All cited when the worst of the virus is reported.
Again I provide links.
. A report in 2018 showed that air quality levels were a red alert for Italy. Way back in early 2011, officials reported that pollution in Italy was reaching crisis levels.
What's particularly troublesome is particle pollution that pervades Italy, and accounts for breathing and heart problems, causing a whopping 9% of deaths of Italians over the age of 30.

In Northern Italy, including big cities like Milan and Turin, has some of the ]worst pollution in all of Europe[/b]. In December 2017, both cities introduced traffic restrictions to try and reduce the impact of smog and air pollution.

Northern cities including Brescia, Lodi, Monza and Venice topped the pollution chart as Italy's environmental agency warned of a pollution "red alert".

Smog and pollution are choking Italian cities year-round and many towns are exceeding their limits on fine particles and other pollution, according to a new report from Italian environmental authority Legambiente.
Its annual report, published this week, warned that 2018's figures were a “red alert" for Italy.
At least one of two daily pollution limits, on fine particles and ozone emissions, was exceeded in 55 of Italy’s regional capitals.
Unsurprisingly many of Italy’s big cities exceeded the limits. Venice was ranked fourth, closely followed by Milan, Turin and Padua. Rome was 28th and Naples 29th on the list.
Almost all of the worst affected cities are in northern Italy. Frosinone, south of Rome and an emerging centre of industry, falls outside Italy's traditional “industrial triangle” in the north-west, as does Macerata in Campania and the Sicilian town of Enna.

LETS FACE IT.even a mild dose of flu is enough to push that 9% deaths figure way over the edge.

So why are we in Wakefield copping for this tragedy in Italy.
'"

Italy is quite an interesting case study; aging population and in particular the region Lombardy suffered the highest regional death toll in 2018 - 99,542 compared to its closest rival Lazio (much lower) - 57,289. It's hardly surprising that in 2020 history repeats itself as once again Lombardy is severely hit with the highest number of COVID deaths in Italy - 16,407 out of total 34,371 occurred in this region. Some serious questions need to be asked of the Italian authorities.

In terms of the UK, I was reading an article by the Telegraph last night published in 2018 called 'Ineffective flu jab blamed as extra winter deaths hit 40-year high ' I happen to notice information was provided by to the media by a certain Dr Jenny Harries (Press conference lady repin the NHS) she said "The winter of 2017/18 saw an intense flu season and some very cold weather. Such weather particularly affects people who are already vulnerable, increasing the risk of heart attack and stroke. We are working closely with other public and community health and care systems to advise people how to Stay Well This Winter and we have made new flu vaccines available, including a more effective vaccine for all adults aged 65 and over. We urge all vulnerable groups to take up the offer of the flu vaccine.

I then unearthed last night an interesting article published by the highly respected British Medical Journal on their website called 'Government exaggerates flu mortality againONS seem to have exaggerated the risk to the public by in the region of 150 times
. The House of Commons Science and Technology Committee have been complaining about low flu vaccine uptake again but we do not even have any information about the vaccination status of the people who died. There are serious ethical issues both for medicine and government here which have yet to be addressed."

Make of it what you will but there is so much corruption here it's unreal.

Quote: Miro "I don't think you understand the power of, lets say marketing, promoting, advertisements, propoganda. Billions is spent upon persuading people to part with there hard earned cash. Yes, we have freedom of choice but trust me, they don't spend billions on the understanding that people simply have free choice. It's a whole lot more complicated than that, As this scamdemic has show,

The BBC....They lie. How? they lie by ommision. an example..during Brexit, Hardly a mention, if any, of the terrible "yellow vests" demonstrations in Paris or the Catalonian demonstrations. Maybe before Brexit but certainly not during, a situation I was monitoring. Why? Because it did not fit there pro remain stance. I mean, we could hardly be allowed to see how disgruntled the French were at that time. Notice how they also made sure EU flags were flying in the background of outside broadcasts. Yeah, very subtle.
As for the anti antisemitism attacks on Jeremy Corbin at every interview...the mind doth boggle. We, in this household, sat screaming at the television..."B........x to that, what about the workers?" (or words to that effect)
A "conspiracy" takes many forms. Though to be fair I never used that term.'"

I work in Technology in Retail sector so I know about the power of advertising. I'm not worried about it in regulated industries.

Media I have a downer on but in a very different way to you.
I don't believe they have helped this crisis at all but certainly not by being in a conspiracy with the government. The media is so set on a story they try to create one and miss what is actually needed.
I couldn't care less whether someone is ashamed of their trip to Durham or not. I want to know what the government is actually intending to do. And how they have performed.
Media need to be monitored more closely and sanctioned where they lie or change the facts for someone's gain.... Whoever that is.

We are not a long way apart but we just draw different conclusions.
It's no different to the 2 fans that see a high penalty count. One sees a bias in the refs decisions, the other sees poor discipline in his team. The facts remain the same but neither knows the thoughts of player or ref. They draw that conclusion on their own.

Everyone on here seems to imply Cummings was on a casual joy ride around Durham doing a bit of sight seeing with the family. Not true, Domnic Cummings is classified as a key worker and has an exemption to be traveling about if he cannot work from home. The reason he was spotted visiting Barnard Castle was to see Glaxosmithkline (GSK) in order to help them enter a vaccine collaboration group between the former GSK President Sir Patrick Vallance and the rest of the UK Government, Hancock, Boris & co. The media make it out as though he was taking the mickey, he wasn't he was sorting out the vaccine for us.

That's quite a switch there MT.
Are you saying he was part of the conspiracy or innocently trying to get vaccine?

Mmm. Pity he doesn't have access to the internet, surprising what you can organise when you're connected. Would have saved him all that fuel as well!

I just follow the evidence available. I'd suspect he was getting the vaccine deal completed out of financial gain and possibly in the hope of saving lives. Maybe he never gave it a consideration and was just following orders. I can't get inside the head of Cummings, you'd have to put the question to him.

Computers leave a trace for decision making and can be used against you in a court of law. Decisions made in person verbally between people aren't recorded and can never be validated to be true or false.

Well I certainly don't have any insider info. Mine all comes from mainstream media but I wonder why he didn't mention it when he was being interviewed. Surely that was his get out of jail card?

Quote: Willzay "Education for a start - I know it’s only Kettlethorpe so not exactly top of the range but when I attended there mid 2000’s there were hardly any BAME students and certainly no BAME teaching staff at all. Likewise college and university pretty much the same feat.

Looking at both cabinets I think I only see 5 BAME ministers in total. I think politics, although there have been some positive changes in this regard, is still a massively disproportionate area.

I’ve had a mate admit recently he’s struggled all his life as someone from the BAME community due to the likes of the Daily Mail constantly attacking them with their sensationalist headlines and people like Tommy Robinson and Nigel Farage given the airtime and freedom to spout their hatred. He also feels that any mistakes he may make would end up being used to judge his community.'"

In 2005 Kettlethorpe High School had 5% ethnic minority students which would be proportionate based on the population census 2001/2011 for Wakefield.

Looking at a few areas, it isn't as bad as some people may feel it is.
Population is - 84.6% White, 15.4% BAME.
Parliament - 90% White, 10% of Parliament is BAME
NHS - 72% White, 28% BAME.
Further Education - (2017/1icon_cool.gif White 76.8% in Further Education. Black people made up 6.6% of all further education participants, and 3.6% of the overall population. (based on 2017 population estimates from the Office for National Statistics)

Football - November 1978, roughly one in every three players (33%) making an England debut has been BME. In 2017/18 Premier League season 33% of players were from BAME.

Income - BAME Indian and Chinese earn more than their white counterparts.

Deaths in UK Police Custody - In 10 years there has been 85% of deaths been white. 15% BAME.

There are some over proportional areas for BAME there. Things could improve in some areas for BAME and it isn't for the want of trying. Lots of jobs including the Police have had what the term Positive discrimination where only BAME can apply.

We are one of, if not the most tolerant, caring and diverse places to live. My black friends haven't had any problems in a very long time. An odd idiot every now and again but nothing major.

I'll be honest I'm a proud Englishman and proud of our country and all folk of any ethnicity and heritage. Still work in progress in some areas but certainly not as negative as I've seen.

It's about time you provided a detailed account of how you've seen the past few months events unfold. Up until now you've posted a lot on this thread but provided very little perspective. I'm here to share information to others and understand other peoples point of view of this crisis. It would be helpful if you would share your views as you seem to question my facts with hints of mockery.

Conflict of interest breach? He was under investigation last year in connection to the NHS app. He's a chief advisor / strategist. Its not his role to be dealing with that sector unless you're corrupt of course. Wait my bad, politicians are not historically corrupt, forget I said anything! That's the basis of my argument, this plandemic is corrupt to the core. It's all about money and control. If you think for one second this government are desparate to benefit you then you are extremely gullible.
