| Quote: M62 J30 TRINITY "The council for allowing York Court to make milllions from green belt land without providing the community facilities that allowed the development in the first place. Also us for being too nice towards the people who have failed to keep promises whilst making millions. If we have to move out of the City of Wakefield or lose our SL franchise because of them these people need to face the consequences of their actions. Why are Wakefield council letting them get away with it?'"
Very good question.

I have tweeted them asking as the LA what they are going to do about YC changing the whole deal so they can make more and deliver less but don't expect a reply

Could you put any kind of estimate on how much Yorkcourt could make from the site over a certain period of time? Is it enough for them to play ball if the council grew a pair and said "Right, you're not building anything else until we get a proper agreement."

| We have only 14 days left ntil July 31st]to provide a watertight plan to the RFL regards Stadium. Does anyone think it possible to do this with all that has been going on in the last few weeks. Trinity's Super League future is at risk even though we have had probably our best season in SL, i just don't have the words to express how i feel, i am gutted, angry, to think we Wakefield citizens and Trinity supporters are on the verge of losing our only top class professional sports club.

More than enough to build a stadium but it looks like they want it all.

We would be happy with them changing the deal if a condition of that was they built a stadium by 2019. That was what we thought Peter Box meant when he said the Council would negotiate a perfect deal for us just like they did for Castleford, not the crock of they have put to us.

Not quite. I think someone other than Yorkcourt wants some of it too.

| Can Yorkcourt legally renege on this scheme as easily as that? surely you can't just hoodwink the local council, the Secretary of State and the general public on such a scale as this and get away with it!
It's time the gloves came off and the whole fraud exposed!

Yorkcourt can demand all they want but they will only get it if the council agree.
The real problem is the council they are quite prepared to sit back and allow yorkcourt to do as they please. If the council did their public duty and represented the people that pay their wages and voted in their political leaders there would be none of this.
The rot set in when the CEO and her deputy had a meeting in secret with Walker and made the massive concession to yorkcourt that Newmarket would not contribute to trigger point. This meeting was not minuted and a freedom of information request has revealed there is no written or recorded record why this was allowed to happen. IT ALL F'IN STINKS !!!!!

The Trust needs to decide what to do next.
My opinion which may not be shared by all Trust Board Members is that we stop talking to the Council and Yorkcourt as its a complete waste of time and getting us nowhere, call a Public Meeting, start the crowd funding and instigate Legal Action/Judicial Review at the first available opportunity.
Talking and being reasonable has got us nowhere, in my opinion we have to start fighting for what is right.

Yep all further discussion will do is allow them to stall until it's too late for the club. They have shown their true colours with that HoT agreement which box made sure didn't get to the trust until after his radio appearance

Pretty sure that's where the club are too Ian. And also IF we are forced to move out of the city, that decision needs backing, because if we aren't together, we'll get nothing!

No idea what it costs to instigate legal action sandal cat , but if that is where we end up then I will be a contributor to that course of action..
