Hope so, Dowes is no superstar but he's a far better professional than Hickey IMHO.

He will give us consistant performances and certainly an improvement with regards minutes on the park.

Would still like a big, rough d prop, but so would Hull KR, Saints, Cas, Salford etc etc Seems there is a bit of a shortage at the mo.

He did 80 minutes a good few times for us! If he can stay on the pitch and can cover more impact based props rotating then you will be ok

With his apparent mental state it can't be anything other.

It's a risk with gleeson but if it pays off we have a player better than Murphy.

Murphy is good but not ripping it up so to speak.

Dowes adds depth in props. Obst probably to replace Lee if the deal comes off.

Add a good prop and half and we look good. Still some chopping to do methinks.

Hoping we can fit Tongia in somewhere too.

I'd rather Murphy - I can see little chance of Gleeson ever being close to the player he once was - sadly.

Could remember when he was the only player the aussies were scared of in are attack for england. His footwork was amazing and probely still is, dancing in a club.
