| Presumably we are skint again and needed some money quickly, otherwise why would you sell your best player to a competitor in the lower reaches of the table.
This is Wakefield: Together we are skint.

| It looks like we are back to where we were a few years back.
Elston hid behind Richardsons failing (probably with some justification).
He has been the main man this time around and AG has put his faith in him.
For us to be back where we were per spirit of 1873 so quickly only shows how badly both have performed.
For me (if this sale and its reasons are confirmed) Elston has to resign if he has any shred of dignity, he's had a go but he is nowhere near capable of the doing the job.
I would also urge the directors to get a grip of this situation and act quickly.
Sadly for them to get us out of this alleged hole is going to cost more of their money, but that's the cost of their failings.
Failure to act quickly and decisively will in my opinion lead to a downturn in recent support and potentially further losses.
Time for our directors to grasp the nettle!!!
Steve Ferres doing owt?

People like you are the reason I detest Cas' fortunately there are decent Cas supporters and I respect them, sadly the club is tainted by gits like you!

The sad thing sbout his comment is that it's true.
I think the importance of supporting the club now is more important than ever though.
It's clear where the blame lies; the door of the CEO.
If anger is to be directed, I feel it is important that it is directed in the right way.
Turning our backs on the club now will only make the job of those charged with re-balancing the club that much more difficult if not impossible.
A clear statement from the club to the supporters is imperative.

If you are certain then history repeats , As Wigan Lifted Matty Smith & Hull FC - Holdsworth in similar circumstances, when we were in ' cash flow issues' .
To be doing likewise to another team gives me no satisfaction is the only solace, as I know exactly how I felt last season when stories like this started to appear .
All I can say is stick with your club .

| If its true that Tim Smith has gone then others will probably follow...
All creative attacking play has come from him this season and I can't see a surprise high profile signing replacing him whatever big money has been offered to buy out his contract if the rumour is true. It's strange that there is nothing on Salford or other forums?
Looks like Goulding will be getting the 6 shirt next season with Wildie at seven unless Agar is looking at a French import Theo Fages in exchange from Salford?
Sad day for Wakefield Trinity Wildcats.....

Totally unfair to pile all the blame on Jimmy if the bloke who employed him had delivered on all his promises we would not be in this mess.

Depends how you look at it.
IF AG put his faith in the CEO to deliver then he had been let down as much if not more than the supporters.
As far as I am concerned the book stops at his door, without question others have failed too but JE is the rugby man AG entrusted to use his money wisely.
Clearly that has not been realised.

| If/when I see official confirmation from the club then I will be pretty p*d off but until that point it's another one of those that goes down as an unsubstantiated rumour as far as I'm concerned

| Totally peed off if this turns out to be true but not surprised as its par for the course in supporting wakey.
Also can't believe the half truths that have come out from the club about the whole situation.
Is Tuson gonna bother coming? If I were him I'd be asking Wigan if that / year deal was still available
Heads need to roll for such bad mismanagement

Never trusted Glover since his biggest night in the clubs history stunt he pulled at Cedar Court.
I am not saying Jimmy is not at fault but I don't like to see him take the blame for everything if others
are equally as culpable.
