Not sure if this is good news or bad news.
Very worrying times I think. I do feel sorry for AG because I believe he has moved heaven and earth to make this club a success but I think it even exceeded
his pocket.

Totally agree Stevie. He saved us and took us up a few levels and certainly we needed the shake up.

Maybe this is a good thing and he has led us as far as he can? His twitter account still says he is the owner of the club so I imagine he will be somewhere in the background.

With all the negative rumours, bad luck with Eric France and publicised financial problems a new direction maybe a good thing.

PHe - could well be the reason for the poor display as body language yesterday said they could not care less

I think its pretty obvious what the situation is....he came in with no real idea of the personal costs involved and whilst he has improved so many areas of the club and business, he just did not anticipate the amount of money he was going to have to put in the club....and whilst he clearly has a few bob.....he does not have nothing like what's needed.
Unfortunately he did not do anything about certain highly paid staff or get rid of the job's for the boys (and family) culture and that is where there is a fundamental problem.....don't be surprised to see the Hetherinton's hovering.....

Good luck. I'm sure you know what has to be done to improve matters better than anyone on here. There may well be tough decisions to make but they have to be done. Onwards and upwards!

Don't know what to think about this.

The last figures posted at Companies House stated that Andrew Glover owned 55% of the shares in Spirit of 1873 Ltd with 4 other Directors having 10% and James Elston having 5%.

Is AG still major shareholder but just stepped down as Chairman or has there been a "redistribution" of share ownership.

I guess we'll find out in due course.
