| Roy Asotasi would pull in the crowd being in the front row with Aiton and Poore! They'd have real go forward if all were fit

Rumoured to be on the way to the Bulls if they can lose a quota spot.

That's the same scenario. Infact, Westwood is still showing far more left in the tank than Ali was doing in his last couple of years at Leeds.
New clubs reignite players. But I would think Westwood is way out of your leage for another couple of years at least.'"
Of course I don't regret us signing Ali, my main point really is that I would not involve Anakin in any deal for Westwood and I certainly wouldn't entertain Westwood at all in 2 years time!

I'm not sure that you're right on this one, I heard the total opposite.

Ben has a 'complicated' personal life, he left because he REALLY needed the cash.
He was very close to returning before his last contract at Warrington

| If the rumours are true, maybe Agar might not be looking at Westwood for 2nd row, he has always had the frame and has gradually filled it out. A bit like Morley. Could be a prop in the making?

I seem to remember a relative of his coming on to a website and telling everybody that Ben was told he had to leave Wakefield because Warrington wanted Nathan Wood and him, and were prepared to pay a fee for him. From that they said Ben never wanted to leave Wakefield? or did I dream this?

You are correct, he was SOLD to Wire.

The cash helped fend off the ''Wolves'' from the door for a while.
If I remember rightly we had trouble paying the water bill at the time and watering the pitch became an issue.
Hey the good old days eh????

That's exactly how it was reported at the time.
As for now, I don't like the idea of a trade-off with Annakin, because we should be looking long term. That said, if push comes to shove, I'd take proven class over potential class in the short term.

| The reality is that when we are able to get Westwood, it's no longer the time to have him. A superb forward but forwards don't last forever. Investing in players like Annakin is the way forward.

It cuts both ways. Young players don't always maintain their potential either.
Ben's experience would be great for us, if he has another 2-3 years top class playing ability in him.
Having both of them playing in our team together would be the icing and the cherry, though.

What trade in ? the only person I've seen mention it is Kinley on this thread but where else has it been brought up.
