600-700 is probably about right.

The key is how many we can attract, not how many the opposition do or don't bring. Don't like Friday nights 'cos of work, so had to rely on the telly, but, as others have said, it will take a winning run or a big name signing to even get close to attracting the stay aways back.

| The disappointment for me is that this gate was 10% down on last year that was also on sky. OK bad economic times and over 5K at a time when the club has been through the mill but has risen from the ashes.
The business side of things is really kicking in, floodlights sorted after years of lights out, the ground being painted small things but all create the right impression.
I am certain of whatever happens re SL the club is now in great hands, we have a great bunch of lasd who will grow into a great team given the opportunity desire and backing.
Some of our more experienced players are probably playing pivotal roles with huge responsibility for the first time, in other teams they have been part of the squad,l now they are expected to drive the team around the field a massive step up.
I am delighted at our application in defence, I am like others identifying the lack of penetration at the moment near the opposition line but I am confident this will will come, the team are getting better by each game.
I expect JK will rotate the younger ones to preserve them getting battered each week.
Mr Glover, James and Davide please take a bow the club is moving in the right direction
The strategy of the club is now open to see, the marketing has been taken to the next level.
The policies are being implemented and driven and ultimately the tactics of the club i.e. what is produced on the pitch will be improved and more effective leading to a better team
The gaps are putting a team together on a tight low budget, not having played as a team long enough probably too much inexperience but that will change.
Overall I am a happy bunny, the City now needs to back its professional sport in these hard times, the club and rugby is an out for people who are struggling and hopefully the marketing will maximise this.
The netball team affiliating to the club is a great start to galvanise young people to the brand. Smart move guys long may it continue and SL so what but its worth the fight

| hello, i went last night, though most of the evening was spent nursing toothache.
WE've had people posting offers this week for the game last night, fair play to the new guys that have took over, they're trying their hardest to make it tempting, so big pat to them.
When are you next on sky? personally,(and i can't remember quite how full it was) i'd have an offer on to get as many people to fill up the seated area opposite the camera next time, just to make it look more impressive, just push the seats.

| That was the most empty I have seen BV for a SL match. It was on a par with the gate we had for the Catalans play off match. The real attendance last night was less than 3000.
I know as fact that we have over egged our crowd figures for the last few seasons. Last season when we beat Leeds the crowd was announced as about 9000. The real figure was 5000. So if you were at that game you will know what 5000 people in BV looks like.
Picture the second half last night, less than 500 on the end terrace, perhapes 400 in the stand and another 300 infront of the stand, I am told that the previous management always counted the Benidorm flats as 500 ( in our dreams ) and lets say a generous 1000 on the terrace behind the dug outs.
This is the reality, I do not see it getting better while ever we are at BV. The big question is will the Wakefield public come and watch the team at a super new Newmarket stadium.
My opinion is that if we get to Newmarket then the local community, Stanley, Bottomboat, Outwood, Lofthouse, Wrenthorpe etc etc will support their club, we will get a massive increase in ` walked up ` support, something we do not benefit from at BV.

| Said before the match with all things considered i'd settle for 5k. Must have been a lot watching in the hospitality suite though 'cos there wasn't that many on the terraces!

I have to agree, the "crowd" looked very sp, this must be a concern to the club.. We can not keep bumping the crowd up like tis. We wouldn't need to to if people got off their backsides and tried watching a game live.
We had a reduction in admission price last night and a fortnight ago. How many times can we afford to do this?

Correct those figures are spot on. However we don't desreve to get anymore with the quality of the product that we are putting on the pitch

| Couple of people with opinions I respect, but one question, how do you know these stats? BV looked very empty and I thought that it was a sub 4k crowd so I was very surprised with the figure given.
