As I've stated before,we are already setting up for a championship season and it looks bad,indeed very bad

I’d have retired by now if I had a £1 for every time I’ve heard that over the years . How about we are shaking things up , those that want to go ,exit stage left . Too many are going through the motions at our club ,there are hungry players chomping at the bit to get a game stopped by so-called senior players going through the motions . Something has to give , as I’ve said Johnstone going was inevitable,Miller wasn’t breaking any pots and struggling for form ,a change is a good move for both parties. And if Batch has decided the grass is greener over the Humber , good luck . Still plenty of rugby to be played this season before the white flag is hoisted over Belle Vue

The problem is those rumoured to be leaving represent our better players who will be wanted by other clubs. We cannot afford to lose these type of players because where do we get the replacements. I don’t think we can sign anymore from London but you never know. I will say again we are not an attractive club to join hence our bargain basement players signed recently.

Not sure if it’s being confirmed regarding TJ but Murphy to me looks like he’s got the potential to be as good as TJ. Head and shoulders best player on pitch tonight. Last reserves game he scored a hattrick and he’s played well in his debut season and knows where the try line is.



I really hope we can get him signed up longer term because he’s impressed imho. The more game time he gets the better he will get I’m sure. Him and Hall could be a cracking pair for the future.

I agree, I would say that mentally, he is probably above where Tom was at his age because he seems to have a little bit of attitude to his game, which will make him a great winger I think.

Looking at how Bill left the field last night I really can't see him back in the near future and I now firmly see Hall as our starting No 3 - he has been a very shrewd signing!

If we do stay up id be more than happy for tj to go as he will be in good money some we can hopefully put to better use on more pivatol postions and with player who actually plays and in murphy we have an excellent replacement and feel he is already as good in defence as tom he made another super tackle last night.give the lad another 12 months of experiance and he could be a better all round player

I think there needs to be a lot of credit for the recent academy set up. We look to have a few who will become good quality SL players.



Murphy isn’t the finished article yet but he definitely seems to have similar attributes to TJ. We’ve seen him produce a few good TJ dives in the corner and show a good step and balance. As has been said his defence is pretty good too.



By the way TJ is my favourite player and I think he’s given us alot to cheer about over the years but I’m impressed by Murphy to the point it will lessen any impact of TJ leaving. That’s assuming he does leave of course.



We don’t half seem to be able to bring through some quality wingers. Lee Kershaw ain’t half bad either.

Be intresting to see what happens with kyke evans i seen him twice and he really impressed me

Not sure on Evans. Only saw him yesterday. Seems a strong runner but hard to say how he would go against SL opposition.



Took a fairly easy walk in try but also fell off a tackle to let one in which should have been made. He looked to work hard.



What has happened to Davetanivalu? Doesn’t appear any mention of him in recent games.

Last time i saw him he was in a knee brace
