Marc Green says theres nothing wrong with seeking a second opinion even after the Doctor has prescribed a medicine. Thats not really a comparable analogy though, whats happened here is more akin to self inflicting a fatal wound and dying from the resultant blood loss only to be brought by by way of a transfusion. Not happy with life, you once again inflict fatal wounds upon yourself and then realise you actually dont want to die after all and kick n scream until eventually shuffling off this mortal coil once more. A Frankenstein's monster like reserrection then appears looking like you but is really just a dead man walking so the Doctor prescribes some time away where you can learn to be human again but the warped mind of a monster can't accept that he's dead so seeks a second opinion. The Independent Board of scientists also declare you dead and uphold te Doctors opinion. Truly deluded you still can't accept that youre dead and seek a third opinion.
