We’ll see come the end of the year whether Powell and Mills see him as a 7 who will be part of the plans going ahead with our ambitions of top 6. He’s only 31, so got plenty of good Rugby in him. This year is the first year in SL he’s had a quality 6 at the side of him behind a dominant pack. For me he didn’t tear up trees in the championship. I hope he absolutely tears up SL, we finish in the 6 etc etc.
At the end of the day, he’s in a very pivotal position, he’ll earn good money for doing so as 7’s are usually the highest paid players in world Rugby, if he mucks up he’ll gain more criticism than say a winger for knocking on. I like to think I’m very fair and try to give a balanced view. They’re only human and make mistakes, you’d have to be a pillock to not realise that, but I hope as a team collectively we cut out the mistakes, do that and I genuinely don’t fear us playing any team.

There you go, sums it up perfectly for me which was my point in the first place, you mention in your post that you hope the other players cut out their mistakes then I hope you view their mistakes in the same light as Lino's then just maybe we wont both be judged as pillocks. |

Lino just about keeps his place but he needs to have a good game with Trueman this week with no errors like kicking into touch.
That team looks strong and can certainly do the business. The forwards like KR will need to dominate down the middle vs Leigh. On what basis does Lino just about keeps his place ?, he's had a good game every time he's played with Trueman, he made one error with ONE kick and has been slaughtered for it and on the other hand Trueman's stand in hardly set the game alight did he, had even a bit of luck gone our way you'd have to be looking to find something else to have a side swipe at Lino, and fwiw please give me some indication where no other player has not made any errors, thanks in anticipation. You really took the Lino comment and run a marathon with it didn’t you. No not really, I just thought your comment was a touch harsh nothing else and I just simply used my right of reply which apparently hasn't gone down too well. It’s my opinion, you don’t need to share it. It's a forum in case you've forgotten Nobody has said he doesn’t go well with Truman. Your right so what's your point. I get Lino has his fan club but for me he started very well but I think he’s been less effective last few games and I would like to see more from him.
If that's a dig at me then I should point out I'm a fan of every player at the club and not any one individual if that's ok.
Not sure why the big reaction. I still put him in the line up I’d like to see this weekend.
No big reaction from me, it would seem though that with the rant you have just come out with you either think I'm stalking you or I have touched a nerve which believe me I'm not, failing that, sorry if that's the case as it was not intended.

I'm fine with Lino.
He makes less mistakes than most and does a heck of a lot that is good.
And he's better with Trueman.

Why did Croft go off, did he pick up a knock or was it tactical as he was taken off after the Ese Ese try if my memory is correct? |

So no Trueman again but it sounds like he was always going to be 50/50 anyway, Atoni and Croft also missing but Vagana is back...hopefully a strong enough team to bring home the 2 points but Oli Russell needs to step up !!

They don’t seem to have Mulhern or Charnley back. Nice to see Russell back on the wing and Pratt to centre. Need an 80 minutes high completion and good composure to come away with summat here. |

Lino missed a kick hope he does not get too much stick for that ,Great to see Tom go in from long range ,the way he took the ball for is second try was out standing .Have we got the best pack in Super League, beginning to think so ..Thought Russell at 7 did ok .in fact a great team effort .Just getting fed up with absence of Trueman signed as a marque player .Came with a bad record for missing games .Or am I expecting to much
