Good move for all involved it seems.

Newcastle get an excellent player for that level, I am sure he still has plenty to offer at that a team like Newcastle.

Wakefield get to keep him in a coaching capacity in which he is held in very high regard.

Liam gets to carry on his playing career for at least another year.

TBF he has only been there for a couple of weeks and he has registered some assists, but sadly for both Widnes and the opposition. At that end of the table your weaknesses are bound to be exposed more.
