That's the problem when they go from cheap to realistic, if you want decent players' you should expect to pay a decent price and then maybe we can compete with the other clubs' financially.

| £14.66 per game based on 11 plus 4 if we find ourselves in the bottom 4
If we for some reason find ourselves in the top 8 and we lose in round 1 of the play offs i wont care, it'll have been worth it after the last couple of years.

Its only 3 home games against championship sides for the 4 superleague teams that are in the bottom 4, the lower league teams get the 4 home home games.

Confusing but o.k, still only £15.71 per game, so still excellent value IMO.

| Well we will be getting ours. As said before if we want to improve and sign better players then we should be prepared to pay for em. If you want cheap season tickets go watch a championship side.

| I'd have liked to have seen a 1/2 season ticket for people like me that can't get to all home games. £220 is too much, I'll pay on the gate.

| I've been a walk-up this season and probably put more money in the coffers as a result; I'll buy a ST for next year though, and a jr just in case one of the kids want to come with.
Just got to get over this jinx now - if we win away at Les Cats, I'll consider that broken and get myself back on the terraces!

Said exactly this yesterday. Given me & the mrs will likely miss at least 2 or 3 games next year then justifying a £440 outlay at this current time is tough. I'm afraid we only have so much spare cash we can spend on Wakefield Trinity so if we do get them then sadly it will mean no replica shirts or other merchandise which we always get and no club 1873. I'd love to be able to throw money at the club but it just can't be done. Sadly there is a likelihood that next year will be the first year in many a moon that we won't have a season ticket.

| My own personal view, not to be taken as a major criticism of the bigger picture, was being underwhelmed. Lot cheaper at £220 than my current Platinum Membership. I've no interest in the bars and clubs upgrades so will probably just top up with some more Lottery numbers. Think the wife will stick to paying match by match as she's still not fully weaned off the Agar years.

I think thats a fair enough point.
Out of interest how many games do you regularly attend?

| Tricky one for me this i,m a concession £150 early bird, but my grandson is young adult this year which we bought as a christmas present. Next year he will move into the adult level which is 220 early bird, if i bought this as a christmas present like last year i have to give my other 3 grandchildren the same amount, thats £880 + my £150 =£1040.

| The lovely new system for next year still seems to have some people confused.
As I understand it
SL1 play everyone home and away plus Magic weekend before split (23 games) - 11 HOME games
Split then happens and you play everyone in your 8 once either home or away (7 games) - either 3 or 4 HOME games
Not sure how the H&A split is decided for what becomes the top 8, although I would assume that the top 4 get the benefit and advantage of the extra home game.
For the middle 8 (ie bottom 4 from SL1 and top 4 from SL2) the decision has been made that the top 4 from SL2 will get the benefit of the extra home game.
If the assumption about the top 8 is correct then the only way to get 15 home games is by finishing in the top 4 after those first 23 games - a tough ask for us I would say.
So, chances are that as Wakey fans we can expect to get 14 HOME games for our money.
£220 for 14 games is £15.71 per game. Against a walk-up price of £22 that is a saving of £88 or 4 games free. I would assume that the walk-up price may go up again by the obligatory £1 so that would be a saving of £102 or 4.6 games free.
Still pretty good value (provided you can afford it). I don't tend to miss more than a couple of games so it's still a good saving for me.

Good summary that Fordy
But the thing is, in my mind its not down to economics. If you miss 5 games you may be a £ or so out. However if you buy a ticket it backs the club and they need all the support they can get. The way MC and Co have turned things around they now deserve our backing .
