Used to be great when you could watch the academy play before the main game, certainly beats the dross we have to put up now in the lead up to kick-off. Why did they stop playing before the main game.

Remember the season the lads got to the final, we set off early to every game, even all the away ones to watch the lads and they were a great bunch to watch.

Groups of lads together like that only come round once a blue moon, and how unfortunate they were to come up against arguably one of the strongest academy sides ever in Leeds that year.

I think this could be down to facilities available at belle vue that are limit and putting up two games require a quick turnaround, but your right something the club should look into something like this at the new stadium, bring in the fans earlier to watch two games, food and drinks hope the club are listening

I'd say there's a bunch like them now, some real quality right throughout the team.

first time i've been down today and really enjoyed the game.

Some quality on show, although i was mightly disappointed in the Huddersfield side.

doesn't make them all bad players but you can tend to see the ones that want to go in for the thuggery and them that are quality among also rans

Good result for your young uns but please dont read too much into it, our Academy are very inexperienced and young this year - not to take anything away from Wakey - you can only beat whats in front of you !!
