Let's face it, this is do or die, but if it goes against us, we can't say that everyone hasn't given it all their best shot. People will have their different views on what is being said, because each side wants to see their own glimmer.

What I find interesting is the extent to which Cas fans seem to want to see it fail, and I think that shows how little confidence they have in Glasshoughton. If they had confidence in Glasshoughton, the PI would be irrelevant.

We have Sir Rodney heading the project with a proven track record.We have expert planners with a proven track record,we have funding headed by the developers York court who also have a proven track record,we have government policies re job creation amongst a recession which is forcasted by economists to get worse before it gets better saying the Yorkshire area should start to come out of the recession 2019. A solution to this would suggest a positive outcome to the enquiry. I know nothing in life is guaranteed other than death and taxes. But look on the bright side, look at the taxes that will be collected should the inspector recommend a yes to Mr Pickles.

I don't find that interesting - I find it really sad; that people who live in the District would rather see 2000 jobs, a load of inward investment and sporting facilities for generations to come go down the pan, just to give their own club a bit longer to prevaricate.

Is this based on the small number of people using these message boards or cas fans as a whole? I disagree there will be a minority who would like it to fail just as there is Wakefield fans who would love to gloat over GH failing but I dont think that would be many, this arena is a tight ship populated with a small audience some of whom are very opiniated but that does not mean they are the majority.

I actually think there's more than you think, all you have to do is look at this forum, the other one and the messages on facebook etc, I know it doesn't give you the full picture but it's definitely opened my eyes. At the end of the day they see it as, if we get NM they are more than likely out of SL next time. I think simply put they want there stadium built before ours and that involves subconsciously or not wanting the others to be delayed or fail.

Cas being in the same division has a lot of benefits to us as a club. At NM you would expect the matches to have even more in attendance as it's very close to the area. I want them to succeed eventually just not beofre us
