Yeah major climb down from Halifax all week,bit of a grovel from chairman in League Express as well "no axe with any club" etc etc but no apology to Wakey for defammatory comments when he was having his tantrum live on tv.Hope AG and co have good memories and bare this in mind if we ever have to do business with this muppet.

As was said by a few at the time, the state of their application was embarrassing and the evaluation by the RFL was scathing.

Delivering it by helicopter etc was indicative of the naivety of their management team who failed to grasp the level of detail and substance required within the report.

No doubt that message has been delivered by the RFL resulting in the Chairmans climbdown unfortunately he doesn't have the class to apologise for his unwarranted attack on the Wakefield Trinity RLFC.

There is no evidence that we were out, in fact there are statements to the contrary. I don't want to labour the point but I was there when certain individuals, who hold positions that allow them to know, made comments regarding the strength of Wakefelds application and in the wake of Steels tirade made other comments on the Halifax application.

No, I don't have a link so believe it or don't believe it, I couldn't care either way, but perhaps time will tell as more info makes the public domain.
