| Very bad display from a very weak squad ,but when your spine of your team( .apart from 7 )as your 3rd choice full back ,your 3rd choice 6 and your 2nd choice 9 .from the worse squad I have seen at Wakefield in Super League what do you expect .The first 4 trys came from mistakes on our line .So Hull K R did not have to do any work to get to our line . Just can not see use staying up ,because by the time we get some thing like a first team back ,and with the lack of Quality in the team ,we will not catch the second from bottom team up

| I really wish our B.o D had put the same amount of effort in enticing soccer teams to come to Belle Vue, into our rugby squad.

Surely not, our self appointed CEO, come rugby director backed his mate chezzie to sign him, He must be a good player. Get him back and the flying pig on the wing and we will be OK

| This was supposed to be the 150th anniversary as well? When you think all the fans that bought more merchandise than usual for it. It’s just ludicrous.

| 40 years ago Trinity brought in Wally Lewis to an extremely weak team and even he couldn’t save them from relegation in the 10 games he played….

He may not have saved us but he certainly increased the gate receipts and the teams on field performances. The problem is that was a different time where promotion and relegation came with no conditions and rugby league was a family.

| The greatest loss that impacted the club was Chris Bretherton. He left at the end of the 2018 season when we finished 5th played attractive rugby and had one of our best squads with players signed on multi year deals.
The season after and every subsequent one we never finished higher than 10th. We started to dismantle the squad reducing the quality playing budget until we reach the one we have this season. The problem is they are probably playing to their abilities but unfortunately in the majority of cases this is championship level.
I know before you say they saved the club but it does not give then the right to destroy it leaving the supporters who are left to pick up the pieces.
With regards our current coach some say he cannot be blamed for our poor form but he selects the team and Fridays just made no sense at all.

| I (thankfully) didn't go as I haven't been too well for a few weeks now and I couldn't motivate myself to go.
What was the attendance? what was the general atmosphere like around the ground before kick off?

Can you explain what Bretherton did?

Think it was about 4500. Can't remember exact number.
Looked full. KR brought a lot.

Im sure it's just a coincidence that his time at Wakefield overlaps so tightly with Wakefield's most successful period in Super League
