Missed the game due to work so can’t comment, obviously sounded a close game and we didn’t collapse after 50 like we did in the previous games by the sounds, so that must defo be an improvement. Obviously still a lot of mixed feelings on here about the performance.

For me I still don't get how this wasn't a red

https://twitter.com/i/status/1385859510275907584

Not that it would've changed matters. We'd still have struggled to put any sort of move together to take advantage.

What's annoying is we could and should be sitting on 4 points. We could and should have beaten Leeds and Hull.

Which is the "Non truth" ?
Have a look at the play the ball and Mason IS OFFSIDE it's plain to see,it's just they never checked that part.
As for the ref being in our pocket just have a look at the penalty count and set restart count again it's plain to see
Yes we are poor offensively but that wasn't my point.

Whilst I agree Both Leeds and Hull were there for the taking how do you work out we could amd should be sitting on 4 points ?
Whilst Leeds were missing half a team and Hull we busted after just a 5 day turn around after an extra time game we are quite simply not good enough to capitalise.
It's now become obvious it is a shootout between us and Leigh who will go down

You missed out the bit where Hull should have been down to 12 men, wasn't in our pocket then was he?

And my point wasn't about Lino being offside or not, it was about the ref 'being in our pocket'. Nonsense

So you agree that Mason WAS OFFSIDE, thank you for that
Just take a look at the actual stats its not hard to work out.
We had everything we could have asked for last night,a busted Hull side after a 5 day turn around,Reynolds not playing, the ref giving us penalty after penalty then to top it off the ref keeping giving us set restarts.
We couldn't even capitalise on that !!!!
Never mind we go again
Next 4 games of Catalan, Leeds,Kr and Giants will in my humble opinion see us at 8 defeats after 8 games

you need to view the point of contact to where he was at that time and its clear enough on slow motion to see that he was just behind, that would of been picked up by the video ref but agreed it was a try, if he had been in front it wouldn't of been given its as simple as that

You can’t question the effort in defence. It was a gritty and determined display by the lads. However, it was yet another game where we had weight of possession, had decent field position and were camped on the oppo’s line yet failed to capitalise. In that first half we should have notched up at least two or three tries. In the second half our cluelessness when we were near to Hull’s line meant that we spurned decent opportunities to score points. It’s a win we have let slip through our fingers because let’s make no bones about it - Hull were there for the taking.

Gutsy / unstructured / no finesse - the commentators say the same things every time they see us play. And they are right; for far too long now we seem to have a ‘turn up and it will be alright on the night’ mentality when it comes to our attack. It’s so obvious what is missing from our game – CC, or someone, needs to instil some rigid structure into our attacking play. We need to take it back to basics on the training paddock if we are going to start winning games. We need to be watching the top ESL and NRL teams when they play, identify the plays they put on to unlock defences and replicate them to the tee. We need to practice those plays again and again and again until the lads can run them with their eyes closed. Those plays will break down defences and then the lads can try some of their off the cuff stuff. However, they have to earn the right to play in that fashion by working for one another and being disciplined in attack in the first instance; and the responsibility for getting that first bit right falls fairly and squarely on CC’s shoulders.

There was one positive aspect of our attacking play tonight; our last play kicking options were much improved and better than they’ve been for some time. However, until we address the fundamental problems we have with ball in hand, it does not matter how many times we manage to obtain repeat sets because we simply don’t cross the line enough times to win games.

I've viewed it numerous times and he is absolutely not square at the play the ball and that is 100% fact
If you are saying that because the video ref looked at the try and gave it then it must have been the correct decision that's OK but then can you please tell me why everyone is complaining about the sin binning because with your theory then you must agree that the yellow card was also correct because the video ref viewed it
