No idea how they pulled that off but weren’t their attendances poor last season? They’ve never had that many far as I can recall.
Free tickets maybe? But whatever they did seems to have worked initially.

| We watched the game last night and they've moved to Wimbledon so I'm guessing they did some marketing locally as it looked quite impressive on TV

I think they gave away 500 free childrens tickets and were selling 3 adult tickets together as a block booking for £30. Something like that anyway, so 4 people including one child could go for 30 quid, not bad for a top class sporting Friday evening event.

| Fev signing an nrl/cup half back.
I don’t buy for one second they have gone to part time. I think they are just trying to go under the radar this season and are mostly full time operation.
Certainly Fev and Toulouse are the biggest threats. We need to be better than them on the day.

| Seems a strange signing from Turner's point if view. You'd think he'd have better options.
In terms if part time, he certainly won't be but I guess they say they are part time if some of the squad are.

I think they now only have 20 players on the books. I’m guessing they will all be full time but just a skinny squad and they’ll save on wages early part of season and add full time players as they go. My guess is it’s all smoke and mirrors and the majority will be full time.
Looking at the squad. If the add a few more of quality it could get interesting.
We will see where both teams are over the opening rounds.

They can hardly lie to other clubs.
They'll all know if they are full time or not.

Suppose that would be true and in the business they would know. Part or full time there’s some handy players in their team.
Looking forward to these next few games to see where we are at.

I agree. I've enjoyed watching us so far but I'd like to see some challenging games too.

| Fev are definitely part time. They were part time even when they were spending a reported £1million on players.
Most Part-time clubs will have a couple of full-time players, but usually they spend the day doing work with the foundations, and then train in the evenings with the rest of the squad.

This is correct. People tend to confuse "not having a job outside RL" with "full time". As has always been the case, Fev train in the evenings and plenty of the players will arrive there on the back of their day jobs, or in the case of some of the bigger names/overseas signings, having been round schools or helping run activities for the foundation.
