Gale is just returning from a long injury lay off, he’s only just started training so why play him in a tough match straight off the physios bed. Another weeks rest, another weeks training then a game against either Siddal or Newcastle where he’ll put less pressure on his body.

Looked like Gale was a central figure in the captain's run so who knows.

This is Rugby League, if you want to avoid injuries then you might as well not show up. We should be playing our strongest team / squad whenever possible.

I don’t know for sure whether Gale is 100% ready to go or not but your post suggests we shouldn’t manage long term injured players back into action

I read it differently TA, he agreed with what most were saying, that we should always or most of the time play our best side but that was as long as I presume that means when they're fit enough.
