What a load of rubbish! If a new owner only wants his ego stroking 24/7 then maybe owning a sports club isn't for them in the first place?

Exactly. And they didn't do what they should have done, and certainly Yorkcourt didnt.
So he isnt single handedly the one who got the stadium built. A lot of people are on that list. Some are on here. But he got it to bricks and seats rather than an argument about who is to blame.

Can't see why the loan from the council wouldn't stand with the club post takeover. Ultimately the directors loans are worth nothing in reality. No takeover and they sit there ever diminishing in value. Minards is a fan at heart so I can't see him blocking anything if it moves the club forward. MC kept the club going back in 2012 to get out what he put in IIRC so that may hold some truth.

That's a more accurate assessment. But listening to some people they forget history and make it out its all down to JC and MC. I also agree he steered through the project to its present state. I know we will never know ,but even if Ted or Glover had WMDC on board during their tenure , they would have most likely have delivered too.

The ink hasn’t even dried on the documents yet ,and all hell has broken loose …supposedly, storm in a tea cup and nothing more than a few details to be sorted out I’d say ,more that people purposely putting obstacles in the way of any take over . Just like players contract and the like ,all this will be going on behind closed doors and will be private and confidential until such times as said parties are happy to go public . We’ve more than enough to worry about on the pitch without worrying about something out of any of our control,unless of course anyone on here is coming in with a late bid for the club ?

Well Ketty, let's hope it all happens. If so I am sure many of the problems on the pitch will go away. However I am a realist and the way the team has been run down mostly down to lousy recruitment, it could be a big ask for anyone to keep us safe so deep into the season.

I’ll be honest I think we will have to drop down to have a clear out ,as I can’t see us winning enough games with our current squad and coach .. unless of course things with IMG turn out differently and we qualify to keep up by some other means .
