He's lost all 4 of those games, with 3 of them being nillings. He's simply not up to the job - never was - and shouldn't have been given the position.
The real crux of it is when you listen to his post match interviews - he already sound like the last days of Chester where he couldn't identify the problem, let alone come up with a solution to fix it.

Clearly targeted lyne and kershaw wing in second half with much joy , first a bomb knocked back into welcoming arms and ran round a static lyne to get near the posts , then two simple quick moves caught them both off guard again and pawing fresh air to go in the corner , 16 points down in the blink of an eye.

The thing is, at least 2 players have gone public saying all was not well under Poching, and how happy they were with Applegarth, and pre-season training was spot on etc, etc. There's no hiding place now is there? Yes !! I believe we are that low on quality in the backs especially since the injuries to Jowitt and Murphy and Hall being dropped . Lino is not the player we hoped for and looks decidedly worse since Miller left . The forwards are getting us up the field but there is no flair, speed,creativity to get over the line ,kicking game is hopeless too.

I think everyone involved needs to take a long look at themselves before what support we have dwindles further.
Fans are used to the relentless relegation fights but this season so far is already breaking records! People will vote with their feet they won’t pay hard earned money to watch a team getting hammered every week.

If he wasn't given the finances or opportunities needed to build the squad he wanted, he should have never taken the job. He's been involved with coaching at the club for quite some time, so we can only assume that he was both happy with the squad, and happy with the recruitment and direction.

This is all on a coach who's natural ability and level aren't as a head coach in a super league club

Or maybe he just thought "Well it's not brilliant, but I am confident in my own ability to make the most of what I've got and can keep us in SuperLeague. It's my hometown club and I've been here a while now, have the respect of the players and the board, otherwise they wouldn't have offered me the job, and am happy to give it a go" ??
