| Quote Prince Buster="Prince Buster"Its thank you and goodbye if true. However my fear is two fold. Firstly still highly likely we will go down and then its more than those that we lose, it will be the whole team.
Secondly the smart money appears to be on Luke Gale comming . 33 years old, injury prone and no longer doing it at Hull. Could be even worse.'"
Gale would be a vast improvement on Lino. Even if he missed half a season at least we wouldn’t have to watch the headless chicken. Then maybe Walker would get a go and in all honesty Walker is not great.

Gale’s already 34. We should be looking elsewhere, he’s done.

I know Lino isnt liked by many, but to me Miller is an even bigger problem. The bloke is thick, should never be the captain and cant read a game. I was bored watching his high kicks to Tom Davies it was obvious a failed tactic but he did not adapt

| Quote Wollo-Wollo-Wollo-Wayoo="Wollo-Wollo-Wollo-Wayoo"That was a dumb run by Hall into touch so lets not blame anyone else. I look forward to see a replay of that last move of the game too, to confirm that going for glory was Hall's best option rather than giving Kershaw the ball.'"
Kershaw would probably have had too far to run to get past cover defenders. What was needed was a little kick on the inside where we had players in support who would probably have dotted down - seemed to attempt this but made his mind up a little too late. Ref was as inconsistent as I've seen and seemed to ref both sides differently regarding ruck and set restarts etc. Overall, effort plenty effort but poor execution and game smarts like most games. That Catalan side were not any good really. I reckon they'd have been beat by most teams.

Probably because the poor bloke was knackered, he did more work than all the front row combined.
I just can’t get over how inept and totally under prepared we were to day. We were slack from minute one to eighty.
The effort was never lacking but you need more than that to stay in SL. I honestly think this is the worst team in terms of actually playing RL I’ve ever seen at the club. Not a single leader amongst them.
I love effort and I can’t knock them for that. But I can go to Eastmoor for that for free. I pay my £25 to see a bit more than dumb rugby regardless of how hard they tried.

There was one out there today, that was linked with us a couple of years back and rang rings round ours. Sadly he wasn't rated at the time

Can’t agree. In that he may be a bit dim at times but come on PB he’s MENSA compared to Lino. I’m not convinced that this is the real Lino, it’s his twin as I’m sure this one would never get a game in the NRL

| Quote vastman="vastman"Correct so why split up the partnership. Jeez I know your incapable of seeing fault with the club but even in your world disrupting the one bright spot of the season is beyond me.
My point about Poching is simple and obvious. We are a poor team and due to the fact that we are not lacking in efforts suggests the problem lays with the coach. Or has the whole dynamic of how sport works suddenly changed?
It’s a cliché I know but there is a point where the buck stops with the coach.'"
I asked you a straight question Vasty. Don't decend into the 'you are blinded' camp that can't explain their point.
For me, switching the centres round has worked. It's not like Murphy was getting any great passes recently.
Most agree Gaskell has played better since the change.
I agree, Poaching is liable but that includes tge good stuff too. They put a move on today that put Ashurst through a gap. Clearly a planned move as Miller hasn't been able to do that in ages but has done it twice recently.
I don't think Hall or Murphy's performance has suffered since the change either.
For me. Putting Tanginoa in SR is a mistake. But as nearly the whole forum moan when he isn't you can hardly blame him for giving him a chance.

We tried to get him and his price was more than most could afford. Which is why he's at Catalan.
But I agree. Head and shoulders better.

| We've not had a decent half back since Finny got too old.
Hence why we've been on a decline since. Tried to paper over the cracks by signing Brough which failed.
Whatever you're opinions on Miller or Lino the basic facts are not one can control a game and neither of them have a kicking game in open play.
