Unfortunately it's the luck of the draw, bloody frustrating though.

Frustrating how we rarely get any.

The annoying thing too is instead of facing a depleted Salford we face a well rested saints team who haven’t played in 4 weeks and pretty much had a mid season break. That’s going to be tough to get anything from and likely hurt our % if we don’t get a win.

We could have all but secured our SL place is we’d have taken down a depleted out of form Salford.

Not to be but it’s so not a level playing field at all and incredibly frustrating that Cas who could be our potential rivals now benefit and could pull away widening the gap aided by an advantage we should have had.

It is what it is I suppose.

My interest in the game I have loved for many years is just hovering above write stuff it on the interest gauge.

I’m not sure he will have a choice in the end? There are only a few RFL designated slots available for re-scheduling and that is one. Protocol is the fixtures are allocated in order they were postponed in the first available slot. If that date fits that then i imagine thats when it will be have to be played.

I do find it an incredible coincidence that apparently they were rushing about last minute with short terms loans to throw a team together (I even heard they were denied a postponement as well) and now they have a Covid case that rules out 7 of there senior squad, genuine question, as the clubs do there own testing, do SL ask for evidence of the testing results?

If it looks like a fish, flaps like a fish and smells like a fish, there is probably something fishy going on and to say the least, this seems very convenient for them, especially when it's a fixture against one of their supposed "relegation rivals" .

Hard not to be suspicious, particularly as six of the required suspensions are "close contact" rather than Covid. I'd love to see if there is actual evidence of this or whether they just pointed at enough to get over the line.

My understanding that you need 7 Covid issues. Weird that it turns out to be 7 and not, say, 9 or 10..

Think its a fix myself only one player apparently as it and a further 6 have to isolate yes of course they do not to mentionthe injuries and suspensions actually hope salford get relagated now

This needs to be looked into and the isolating players need to be from the squad they named not the banned and injured list not named. Even it was one player that was named that wasn’t eligible to play anyway the game should be claimed. MC should be asking for the players isolating to be named but might not be able to do this due to data protection and confidentiality rules.
