This is a crucial game because it's our first game against a team in "our half" of the league. If we lose this, you start to wonder if our season will be decided by the two Leigh games and points difference, one of those games being the next to last round.

Wish Chester would stop messing him about. He is a very good link with the three quarters and has a vet good understanding with his mate TJ when they play together.
Hoping for a win but a little concerned at our average points scored per game of only 12.
HKR have shown on numerous occasions that they can score 4 or 5 tries per game.
Defence needs to continue recent improvement and having Max back at full back should help.

Indeed it’s great to see max back in the fullback role, but a special mention must go to asholt-bott who never let the team down deputising at full back in his short spell at the club . Hopefully the lad kicks on and finds regular game time .

Dont back a mistake up with a penalty would be a good start, which is something we can largely control, unless the ref makes a mistake.
