Can we just take a look at Barnsley FC and their Billionaire but tight a$$e owner who employs Moneyball tactics and after avoiding the drop to Div 1 last year they are now in the Championship playoffs.
Key differences was not necessarily by buying players from unknown clubs for £125000 because they had good stats on paper, but the appointment of their new manager has transformed the team.

It is but it`s not all about money as Scarlett points out, I think if you can be smart with the money that you do have then that goes a long way.
If it was all about money, Warrington would have been SL champions for the last 5/6 years, as it turns out they haven't won it once.
If it was all about Money, Salford would never have been to Old Trafford and Wembley for 2 seasons on the bounce, Cas would never have been in sight of Old Trafford or a league leaders shield. |

Which is all very noble but if we walk away then we will get nothing and the Belle Vue refurb doesn’t happen. Sadly Yorkcourt know that and have us over a barrel. They will offer the bare minimum needed to get it passed through planning whether we agree or not. |
