| By buying the season ticket early I wonder how many supporters will be willing to forfeit a refund for a second time should the worse come to the worse. The way things are going will we be allowed to watch for the first couple of months?

If people are going to buy a season ticket anyway, the early bird prices make some financial sense, but what I meant was that I don't think anyone truly buys a season ticket because they are guaranteed to be up on the deal, as in reality most people end up missing a game here and there. People on the whole buy them as an expression of their loyalty, or because they know it helps the club, or because they will probably just about break even when circumstances dictate that they miss the odd game.
I don't think anyone thinks, "I can guarantee that I will be at every game, come hell or high water, so it makes prudent financial sense to take the season ticket offer, and that is the only reason." There are other reasons all mixed in.

I can see where you're coming from Slugger, but I think I can honestly say that for the last 40 or so years that I've been purchasing a season ticket that it was for financial reasons, knowing that I would only miss a maximum of two games, usually for holidays. However that does not diminish my devotion to Trinity. It just seemed to make financial sense to me and I'm sure that it did to many other supporters.

I think anyone buying a season ticket for next season must be aware that there is a chance of 2021 being no better as regarding covid. You will be purchasing a membership with the "possibility" of attending some games.
Maybe season tickets bought at early bird prices should be non refundable just to help people make that decision?

| Quote Dunkirk Spirit="Dunkirk Spirit"People might try the commit six scheme. Payment is £26 a month x 12 months. I think you get 6 lines on the lottery, and the standard season ticket. That way, the club get a regular monthly income for the following season. I’ve mentioned on here before, a thousand fans paying £26 a month = £26,000. Per month, the club can sort out some of the following seasons finances with that kind of income
.'"
The Commit 6 is a great way as I - like you - have also said many times DS.
I've won some prizes including the gallon of beer at The Printworks..... and was lucky enough to win the £250 top prize which almost paid for my ticket anyway.
On top of the offers such as a discount at the shop.

| The point made by MC's biggest fan is yet again invalid. Every season ticket holder was given the chance to obtain a refund months ago. It was pretty much a certainty that no supporters would be allowed into grounds. Yet again moaning for the sake if it

| Tbh, I was surprised to see anything regarding a refund as I thought this was covered right at the start of not being able to see games.
The vast majority of S/T holders opted to "donate" to the club, with just a few opting for a refund.
Ultimately, every penny that the fans give the club, either through S/T sales, merchandise, Trinity TV etc, etc, help the club to cover some of it's costs.
Anyone, taking a refund (and I accept that some will), is money that club cannot use to cover some costs.
Right now, Trinity need the cash more than "most" of the fans will or they may not survive.
Things have been a total nightmare for everyone this year and it may not improve until mid next year.
It needs as many fans as possible to stand by the club and hope for better times ahead.
Dont walk away and then complain when there is no longer a club to support.

I would guess that we are a lot nearer to 1000 than 3000. The vote via email regarding refunds showed something like 850:40 which shows 890 responded. Don't know how many didn't respond to add to these.
