Yes and we have seen him play in many games with below par performances. He may look good in training but in a game not so and these are what matters. If he was playing with a weakened squad then yes play Brough but we are not therefore stick with what as been working.

One thing that has come out of all this Max Jowitt thing, is his value as a genuine utility player. On that alone he's worth his weight in gold.

Slightly o/t but, having just at a peak at the Bulls website to have a look at their squad for Friday, they have a great feature on there about their opposition (us).
We should think about "borrowing" this idea for our own website.

Interestingly, there are no ex Trinity players in their squad, which, in respect of meetings between the two sides, must be the first time for a while but, they are claiming 4 ex Bulls in our side, Jay Pitts being one of them - even though he was with Trinity first !

I did mention that as a possibility way back on page 2...

Maybe there's some value in keeping ones powder dry, so that opposition coaches of upcoming fixtures don't know what to prepare for until the last possible moment?

To be fair it wouldn't have been difficult would it ,but the thought obviously did not occur to them, because the Coach etc don't see the same issues that we do re Max.
The omission of such comment however, led to the previous comments on this thread. As Max is injured then there's no questioning CC's team selection for me.
C C has to put out what HE feels is the best team for the job - I get that - but to say the least, Max Jowitt has, in the past been an extremely unfortunate victim of circumstances, of which he has no control. His loyalty to the club, is without question .

So let me get this right, you want the club to tell the supporters why certain players aren’t in the 21. Why just Max, why not say Bachelor or any other player who is not in the squad, the one line sentence would fill a whole page.
Out of interest, a few months ago some were clamouring for Hampshire to be in the backs so now you have seen Jowitt play there, who is now in your opinion should play in the backs if not Brough ?
