The ref didn't miss a tackle, drop the ball, kick badly, be offside, not square or turn his back on the opposition twice etc

Chester isn't happy with the ref, interesting when the CEO has publicly said we need to respect the refs decision.

Whenever anybody complains about a ref you get the usual guff about them not dropping the ball or missing a tackle blah blah blah. But watching the game live it looked like a double knock on for wigans first, the quick tap for their third was nowhere near the mark and the last try was a double move AND he made contact with his own player. Also after we got it back to 18-16 it was penalty after penalty to Wigan, some of which were dubious to say the least.

How many players have we had injured/stretchered off against Wigan this season? Probably more than the amount of minutes Farrell spent onside today

Thought the lads tried and put a big effort in yes at times we looked poor attacking wise and still think hampshire should be at 7.BUT you cant beat a ref like that there 1st and 3rd trys shouldnt of been given the penalty against miller for getting slapped in face just showed what the ref was about and in fairness to our attacking its not easy when the other side are constantly offside

But didn't you get sick of shouting "let go FFS!" just before the ref gave these dubious penalties?

Take off the rose tinted glasses. We were guff.
A ref bad for both sides means that you have to make things happen.
Too many mistakes and handing over possession means you get what you deserve.

Their tap restart try was a joke. The highlights are on Sky now and Marshall is about 6 or 7 metres off centre. The ref just watches play continue!
