Fairly recently, we played one of the worst Leeds teams I've seen in about two decades, and we got nilled. Saints could have put a team out today which had been picked from the streets around the ground for all I care. The mess we are in is all of our own making.

People now whinging about saints resting 9 but wakey wouldn't beat that team and wigan had 9 out Thursday. We're history just burying our heads and hoping for a miracle. Couldn’t care less what team Saints pick, it’s their choice. It’s up to us to get ourselves out of this mess and it’s in our own hands to do so. If we don’t they will be nobody else to blame but ourselves.

I'm clearly in a minority here. Buts what's this 9 missing. Name me 8 first choice players in that 17 saints put out today. I'm sorry but they only had 4/5 . At the risk of repeating myself they handed London 2 points today. If they do the same against us in a couple of weeks and all the other teams in the relegation battle then fair enough. Stop blaming Saints for fielding a weakened side.
We've had enough chances to banish the spectre of relegation but getting spanked by London twice, losing to KR and losing to Leeds, how many chances do we need.

If we do go down, and the question is put to Chester, "where did it all go wrong?" How ridiculous would it sound if he turned round and said "if Saints hadn't have rested all those players against London, we'd still be in Super League". It just sounds so ridiculous, it's laughable.

Saints can play who they want. Our future is in our own hands. We need to beat Hull KR and London in our remaining games, otherwise we're down.

It's a bit disrespectful to London to say they were handed or gifted the 2 points. They've obviously played with some spirit.

I'm also pretty sure that Holbrook will have said to his fringe players that it's their opportunity to get their name in the squad for the CC semi final and beyond.

They've put themselves in a position to have that luxury, the last thing they will care about is the teams at the bottom of the table.

I'm pretty sure that the negativity on here is born out of concern more than anything - as an outsider looking in I can't see Wakefield finishing bottom at all, but I can see why there's some squeaky bums before you can breathe a sigh of relief.
