I could of stood finishing less than 5th after last seasons development of Rocky and Miller and could understand the inclusion of Reynolds as back up but I never understood the inclusion of a player that is past his prime, frustrating to see this season unfold into ciaos

Not only past his prime but also known for upsetting the apple cart , so to speak ! Giving Miller the captaincy and then Brough the vice captaincy has been another major mistake imo . Brough has never listened to anyone let alone a rookie captain . As much as I would have loved to have been proved wrong , I don’t think he’s been the signing we were all hoping for .

This season should have been about establishing Ryan Hampshire and Max jowitt as regular long term 1st teamers at Wakefield at half back and full back respectively. With miller running the show. Instead we sign an aging whinging has been who's done nothing other than send us to 2nd bottom if we're lucky. I've seen him stifle both Gaskell and brierley at hudds now he's doing it here. I think we've lost Hampshire and probably jowitt too, which is a massive disappointment for me. Especially as it now seems any sl oap can rock up at Belle vue for an easy 2 year deal.

Chester clearly has a major issue with Jowitt.

Brough will still be here next year and for the privilege we get to pay his full wages rather than Huddersfield paying a portion like this season. Good eh?

It’s playing out with him exactly as i said it would. He’ll start ok but will want to be top dog and eventually push everyone else's nose out of joint by trying to take control of everything, trouble is he is now past his best and can no longer do that. Chuck in an overrated, seemingly undroppable, stand off at the side of him and there’s a major problem.

Looking at the game last night brough was one of the least of our problems ,there were younger players than him grasping at shirt collars and thin air in vain attempts at tackles which led to our downfall .No he wasn’t at his best but he was far from the worst for effort .There was a mountain of a man who had one bullocking run all night in which he trampled all before him,then disappeared bar the odd collar grab.There were seasoned wingers and centres that were embarrassing in both attack and defence .Overall we got what we deserved out of that game which was jack all .Think teams have found out we have a very soft underbelly, put enough pressure on us and we buckle ,how much this is the players or coaches fault I don’t know but something soon will have to give for the clubs sake .

This is what we should have done this season but didn't WHY, Our attacking lines are so poor it;s like we don't know what to do next one of the better teams would have put on 20/30 points on Cas on friday with the amount of possession we had on there line and to make things look worse their went down our end and showed how to create an extra man to walk in the corner and score.
