| Think we've missed Huby since his injury, offers more than England and Hirst. Is the rumored release down to injury's or something else?

| Huby is just down to injury. He's likely to retire.
Was good for us but looks like body can't take it any more.
Need to replace him with a strong prop.

| I quite like Pitts, always have.
My only doubt would be whether we go for a younger model but at 29 he's not old.

Is Pitts a prop nowadays then?

Back row. My two posts were independent of each other. I wasn't meaning he was the prop we need to replace Huby.

| We can assume Ashurst has one of the second row positions sewn up. If we brought in Westerman in a then fit Arona and King would vying for loose forward with him (one possibly could take a prop position vacated by Huby). Tanginoa seems set for the Pauli Pauli role running out wide in the other second row position. Pitts wouldn’t be coming from being captain of a superleague team to sit in the stands watching so would at least be on the bench you’d think. We have also been linked with having an interest in re-signing Dean Hadley. And this is assuming Kirmo does call it a day and doesn’t go around again.
So where does that leave Messrs Batchelor & Crowther?

| Maybe it's a strategy to replace Ashurst when Miller throws one hospital pass too many? He does it so often, he should be paying Matty's insurance premiums.

We've got to look at options. It doesn't mean we are going to sign them all.

| Hull daily mail stating that Westerman to us is agreed. Two year deal offering more money than Hull were prepared to.

| Westerman will be a very good signing if we can keep him away from Ponte
He strikes me as one of those players that is a good player with the potential to be a great player but it has seemed that way for a long time. He is coming up to 30 which is around prime for a forward and as a club we seem to have a good track record of getting the best out of these types of players. I would see him as a replacement for Arona, as much as I would like to keep him, I think the club have other ideas on how to best use that quota spot.
